My husband and I had an unforgettable stay at Six Senses Laamu. The island is stunning, the service incredible, and the experience felt truly special from start to finish. A huge thank you to our GEM, Pablo, who went above and beyond to make everything perfect. He was thoughtful, attentive, and made sure every moment of our trip was smooth and memorable.

What an experience. The hotel 's above water villas are fantastic and the open air restaurants exceptional with lots of laid back atmosphere. Snorkelling is wonderful along with sunsets. Attention to detail second to none. Staff on the island are very customer focussed, exceptionally friendly and love their jobs. One member of staff to mention specifically is Maftuna who was my G.E.M. She really made my holiday and as a solo traveller, I felt totally comfortable as she really looked after me and nothing was too much trouble. I highly recommend this hotel on Laamu.

This is the second time we have been to Six Senses Laamu and i was a bit worried that it wouldn’t be quite as magical as the first time. However, it was even better! It was wonderful to be back on “island time”, surrounded by amazing sea life and beautiful skies. You can completely relax here - it’s not pretentious at all and you are taken care of extremely well. The food is wonderful, particularly Leaf restaurant, the staff are incredible, the spa is superb, the reef is beautiful and the children are in paradise with a fantastic kids club and baby sitting service which runs daily activities. The villas are beautifully done - those looking over the sea grass allow you to watch turtles popping up throughout the day! You feel very welcome and that nothing is too much to ask. A special thank you for us is to our amazing GEM, Soba. We asked if he might be available to look after us again on this second trip and luckily he was! He is kind, polite, funny, generous and absolutely wonderful with our children, including giving them toy turtles to come away with. We couldn’t rate him more highly and only hope he stays at the resort so we can see him on our next trip. We were very sad to leave him and the island but hope to be back next year. I would throughly recommend this resort to anyone thinking of the Maldives - this is the third place we have stayed at and bar far our favorite.

Six Senses Laamu is a barefoot paradise on earth, but what makes it really special is the people that work there! Special shoutout to Riq, our GEM, who turned a great stay into a spectacular one! We can’t wait to come back and have our little one experience the kids club!

Another amazing family holiday to what has to be one of most relaxing resorts in the world ! Testimony is the number of repeat travellers we encounter when we return. The house reef with the varied sea-life means there is plenty to see without having to dive to great depths, that said, the scuba diving is in a different league ! The consistency of service, food and overall experience means we'll soon be booking our 2026 trip, which will only be enhanced by our amazing GEM, Shah.
