Nice enough near Christmastime
I liked and felt the benefits of our Pure Wellness room. It's a stunningly beautiful hotel in an amazing city, however I have a hard time with the strong smell of cigarette smoke and wait times for the restaurants and any food. I chose the Bellagio for it's location on the strip (5 stars for location). I do not think I'd choose it again when I return to Vegas.

Too many expensive shops and not enough dining options!
rooms are comfortable but no place to eat as a family. some of the dining restaurants were closed or they were booked. you can not just stand inline any more and dine. you have to have a reservation everywhere you go. also the prices are triple then what you booked for. be prepared.$$$$

Bellagio---still 5 star!
Our room had a gorgeous view of the fountain and the strip. Room was very comfortable, we were traveling with our service Golden Retriever. The room had pet bowls and a doggie cot all ready to go. The beds were soft and cozy, and the room was spacious and quiet.

OK stay with some caveats.
I stayed four nights for a combo business/pleasure trip in Dec 2024. My observations: Pros: Bellagio benefits from its location on the strip and its legendary status. Elaborate Christmas decor in the atrium, the fabulous fountains, and fitness center were all plusses. Also the bedding was excellent, and we are purchasing one of the feather pillows for home use. Our housekeeper did an excellent job while we were there. It is nice that paying for parking at Bellagio included parking at the other MGM resorts using my room key. Cons: The room (Deluxe King) was outdated and had several aggravating features. There were not enough electrical outlets in the walls. They have tried to address this by including additional outlets in some of the furniture but those were all in one spot of the room, and some of the outlets need replacing. The shower head adjustment didn't work. The flooring and decor throughout seems tired. As for dining, the choices were a snack bar or the super overpriced full-service places. They need a food court. Overall a pleasant stay, but having done it once, I probably wouldn't stay again. The Cosmopolitan, Venetian or Wynn properties are better choices.

Mother/daughter Vegas trip
The bed was extremely comfortable and the fountain view was amazing. The Christmas conservatory theme was phenomenal. Love the pianist at the piano bar in the lobby. Unfortunately, the casino atmosphere is way too smoky. Pool and hot tub area is superb and the location of the hotel is perfect.
