Trump International Hotel Las Vegas

The hotel, the staff, the room, the location…was just perfect. 10/10 recommend staying here especially if smoking and gambling aren’t a priority.

Room was so clean for being a Vegas hotel. We pick the hotel because we didn’t want to walk through the casino. Perfect for family with full kitchen and refrigerator with lots of storage space so we can keep things tidy. Bed was very comfortable. Design is timeless.

Absolutely horrible experience at the Trump Hotel. I expected mush more from this organization. I booked a New Years Eve trip for my Birthday and my 34th wedding anniversary so we would arrive Dec 31st. When we arrived at 4pm, we were told the room was not quite ready but we could check in. I asked if it would be a couple of hours and was told yes. This was lie #1! We waited around until 6:30 pm and checked back in and were told it the room was not ready. I went to the manager desk and asked why and was told the people in the room would not check out until 8:30 pm and then they would have to clean the room. The manager said he would refund the room for the first night which was not doing enough since we would miss our dinner reservation and our NYE party at that point. The refund part was lie #2! We ate dinner at the restaurant and the food was not very good so that did not help matters. At 8:30 we started seeing a flight crew of 17 people from Korean Airlines coming down and checking out. Granted at this point the lobby was full of angry people and kids sitting on the parents lap crying and upset. The manager, David L., was no where to be found unless we made someone go get him from his hiding spot in his office. We were finally able to check into our room at 10 pm which was too late to get cleaned up and dressed for our party. Thanks for ruining day 1 for us! The next morning, we awoke to fireworks going off and when we looked outside we saw the Cyber Truck fiasco going on. I do not hold that against the hotel, as they could not control that. However, there response and handling of the situation leaves a lot to be desired from both the guests and residents of this Hotel. There was absolutely no communication from the hotel or anyone and the only thing we knew was what was on the TV. I walked down 39 flights to see if we needed to be evacuated and was told I had to leave even though my wife and clothes were all up in the room, yet we would be safe if we would stay in the tower and they would not let us return. I waited in the cold parking lot herded like cattle and told my wife to stay put. I finally had to leave the parking lot to go to the mall and stay warm. 4 hours later I told my wife to come down and we would find somewhere to go as there was no food in our room. WE walked around all day in what my wife could bring down for me. We had to cancel our dinner and show reservations for night 2 since we could not get cleaned up and changed. We still had not communication from the hotel. At 9 pm that night we asked the police if they knew when we could go back since we could not find a room that was available. He told us we could go back in the back way to get to our room. We walked the long way across the parking lot (1/4 mile) and told the staff they should get golf carts or shuttles to help the elderly people struggling to get across the parking lot. Not one of the 4 people cared and made comments there was nothing they could do. The next 2 days were good and we had a nice time. When I checked out, I questioned the staff on my refund for the first night and I should get a refund for the second night. I was told they could not refund either night since I booked through a 3rd party. They refunded me the resort fees after I asked to speak to a manager but that still did not amount to enough to cover what I lost in show tickets and being out for 2 days. The hotel room was very nice, but I would not recommend them and will not stay there again due to how they handled the entire situation.

This was my second stay at the Trump, great room, very spacious and I had a view of the strip on New Year's Eve, it was exceptional until the cybertruck explosion happened. I was one of the guests who evacuated the building, and understandable that safety came first. I would recommend management to review its crisis management practice; guests and staff were outside in the parking lot for 1.5 hours (many of us were freezing in our pajamas out in the cold with no wallet and ID, 40F) and supposedly guests were said to be transported to the Resort World to be more comfortable while waiting, it never happened, we lined up from the parking lot, then onto a bus and sat there for another 4 hours. There was no communication from the hotel and when we were allowed to return to our room after 5.5 hours, it wasn't even announced, we the guests had to find out on our own. They could of communicated via text or email, just let us know the status, it was definitely an unforgettable experience. It dampened my confidence with the hotel chain.

We have stayed here before (4 yrs ago) and we had 1 night in Vegas, so we enjoyed so much the first time, we stayed again. Our king room cost (takes and resort fee) was around $160-$175. The hotel was very busy (it was Christmas Day). We ate dinner at the DJT, was seated promptly, and waiter was excellent. The food was great as well. We enjoy this place bc there is no casino here. The rooms were immaculate, and the view of Vegas is awesome! Everything about this place screams excellence, and for a good price! You honestly feel like you are being pampered and living close to luxury for a not luxurious price. Anytime we are in Vegas, we will stay here
