Vdara Hotel and Spa appeals to guests who love the energy and excitement of Las Vegas, but choose to enjoy it from an exclusive environment. It is an intimate and exclusive experience unlike anything else on the Las Vegas strip.

Nice hotel. We upgraded to a corner suite and it was fantastic. A lot of space and 2 bathrooms. Decent view. Only a couple minor things to mention- if you are going to have a kitchen, then please stock it without having to ask for items. I assume the reason is theft. Our room had laundry but it took 3 phone calls and several Hours to get the free supplies to be able to do laundry- we were hiking so this option of doing laundry was great in the room. But again if you offer this then the supplies should be easily accessible. Our room was clean and loved that there is NO smoking! No casino was also enjoyable and quieter. Easy access to get around the hotel and to other casinos without going outside if you choose. Pool area isnt huge but it was nice and the waitress we had was polite and checked on us numerous times. Music wasn’t too loud or distracting. Hotel did seem busy but not overwhelming. There was only one worker that we ran across that was not as friendly/welcoming at check in but I got back in line and went to a different person who was much more helpful and informative! Would stay again.

The rooms have been dirty the last two times I have stayed . The service is average and until they put some effort into the rooms I can’t say I will go back . On the positive side the rooms are good size and hotel is located near Aria and City Center . Also be non smoking is a plus .

I went for my wife’s 50th birthday as a group of 6, it is the first time I have been to Las Vegas and found it to be ok but nothing special, the spoiler for me in Vegas personally but nothing in the hotel was the smell of cannabis no matter were you went, the Vdara was a nice hotel the room was nice, I found the prices for food a little expensive but we mainly ate out. It is not a place I would willingly go back too but the hotel is in a good spot, the walkways to the Aria, cosmopolitan and Berlagio is great.

Housekeeping took a $200 custom designer shirt from my room. I was told to open a ticket with lost and found and have not heard back, nor received compensation. Even though there was a kitchenette, the dishes and pots needed to be requested. The small fridge was a challenge to put in leftovers. The room is clean, appliances are high end, and the property is centrally located right off the strip. If you want a property slightly away from casinos but walkable, this would be an option. However, I don't like being concerned about my property being taken.

The good: 1. If you are looking for a family friendly, no casino, no smoke hotel this is a good choice. 2. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. Somewhat dated, but that was not an issue. 3. Kitchenette with microwave, fridge and a stove. You have to call and ask for kitchen utensils which is a waste of time but fine. Now for the downright ridiculous: 1. No complimentary in room coffee or tea. But there’s no clear signage, they have coffee kits and water and gummies and cookies out on display. A vague note in small print that says “minibar items are charged and find the menu for pricing”. But there’s NO indication that the coffee/tea kits are also charged. If I am not using the minibar - I had no incentive to go check for pricing. 2. At checkout - (we had two rooms) they prepared statements for both rooms and charged for things we had not consumed. But since I had opened coffee kits (one only to use to measure water) I paid $54 for 3 kits. This is the worst I have seen in the hospitality industry and I have traveled the world over. 3. Our travel agent had provided vouchers for the reservation that indicated parking was $10. As others mentioned, I was forced to go through Valet and BellHop at check-in - so I had really no choice. I was charged $40 per night for Valet. When I brought this up, the front desk agent was rude and condescending. I was asked to fwd emails, which I did and then was told that “they had not seen this before and I should go back to my travel agent to ask for reimbursement”. Again - Terrible customer service skills and no offer to even provide a discounted rate for a car that sat there for 2 nights and was not called other than at checkout. 4. That whole encounter left me wondering why this was on tripadvisors’ chosen list. No customer minds paying for good service, but Vdara was clearly a money grabbing establishment, looking to fleece customers (many of whom might be not even in their right minds after a night of partying). I was sober, and was shocked at their poor service and overpriced lackluster offerings. Next time, I’d rather stay at a Marriott. The only reason to give 3 stars, is for the room itself and the prompt service by bell hop and valet.
