Find all of the beauty and drama of Venice in a most unlikely place when you check into The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino on the Strip in Las Vegas. With soaring marble pillars, works of art and entire facades painstakingly recreated, not to mention actual canals with singing gondoliers gliding past, The Venetian captures the magic of Italy perfectly. The Grand Canal Shoppes, including some of the most sought-after designer names, and restaurants run by some of most highly regarded chefs, line the canals beneath vaulted, hand-painted ceilings. An 112,000 square foot casino awaits those ready to try their luck at the famed tables, while a variety of activities offer additional diversity. The Venetian is a chance to walk through halls of history, explore the beauty of one of Italy's most famous cities, and to experience the wonders that Las Vegas has to offer - in one spectacular resort.

Despite the initial we don’t have the suite ready yet… I have to admit the rooms are magnificent, the view is stunning. The hotel is massive and we got lost several times . There is an outdoor heated pool ( I’d rather deal with cold water than lukewarm but it was hot so…maybe it’s worth it in January) and it’s worth a visit.

The room had old, dirty, worn out furniture. The same room that I had in the summer for $119. 00 was $400.00 and a definite look of a cheap motel. This was my experience. I was very disappointed with this experience. The corners of the carpe twere dirty where I looked.

Rooms were nice but not what would be expected for the price and location. Shower was subpar and did not get hot but lukewarm at best. The worst part was the smell in the hallways. It is expected that the casino area would have the bad smell of tobacco smoke but that bad smell made it up on the 7th floor north tower hallway. I gaged every time I left the room. It did not make it inside the room but the floor leading to the elevator smell really bad. Some areas of the casino smelled better than the hall. The smell in the hall made the stay unpleasant and not worth the money paid. Hotel food was ok at best; but I have had better at non resort and other resorts and at more reasonable prices. Overall, it was fine, but I would say was far below what I expected from the resort. Defiantly not worth the prices they charge.

Room was spacious clean and comfortable . My view was exceptional overlooking the city and mountains with clear site of the Sphere .The desk agent was extremely helpful and his customer service was over and beyond expectation. This resort is very accomodating and the employees seem to take alot of pride in their work .

Very nice hotel, Your room is not ready ...but for $75 + night we can get you in a new suite right away. No coffee machine? Then $11 for $0.25 Costco water really sums up the nickel and dime approach to customer service. They want you out of the room.

We have stayed in other Vegas top hotels but we would come back without a second thought. I wish I was there right now!
