Reviews for The Venetian

Highly recommend!

From the moment we picked up our keys, we felt like we mattered. The staff is very professional, friendly, and welcoming. Our room was wonderful! Beautiful suite, very clean and comfortable. We love staying here because we have everything we need within walking distance.

Too Pricey

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

The hotel is new, so it is still pretty nice...but it is over the top expensive and not worth the cost. There is a $150 charge added to your bill if you put any personal items in the room refrigerator, which is really crappy. The room was clean and nice, but I can see how it's going to start looking shabby pretty soon.

Dated rooms and average service for a price

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

I am a first time customer here as I normally stay at another resort. But REO Speedwagon was playing! Room was nice, very spacious. I found the bathroom just adequate for a suite and the fixtures were dated. The service here is suspect, no one met us to assist with luggage, plenty of staff, but they were busy gossiping about guests. When I hauled my bags over they checked them in and since I use digital check in I was off to get keys. I was informed my bags would be delivered, so I toured the hallways and walked by the casino and finally to my suite. No bags. Then bell calls and says they are on the way. Half an hour, no bags. I call and am told they will be in shortly. Fifteen minutes later another call, bags on the way. Finally bags delivered over an hour I waited. Decided to try casino, seemed okay, I lost but it is a casino. Tried to eat, but the food and service was awful. Concert was great. Left the next morning and when I received my electronic bill, the resort fee was over fifty dollars! That was a third of the price of the suite! Totally out of line! Not to mention I received zero for that fee. No water, no special treatment, nothing. My recommendation, stay somewhere else and uber over if you want to see the decoration but definitely not worth the poor to average service and ridiculous resort fees.

Good suits but bad service

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

I recently stayed at this property and, unfortunately, my experience did not meet the standards I’ve come to expect from IHG properties, especially as a premium elite member. While the hotel has its strengths, there were several areas where improvement is needed: 1. Room Location: Despite notifying the hotel that I was traveling with a young child, I was assigned a room far from the elevator. This made trips to the car or the street inconvenient and time-consuming. 2. Check-In Experience: The check-in process was unreasonably long. Standard benefits like a welcome drink and a breakfast coupon, which I typically receive as an elite member, were missing. Additionally, a prior request for a room with a view for a special occasion was not honored. 3. Customer Service: I encountered unhelpful and dismissive behavior from the front desk staff, particularly Michael Daniel, which left me feeling undervalued as a guest. 4. Room Condition: The room had some surprising oversights: • Basic amenities like slippers were not provided initially. • The body lotion was half-used and sticky. • The tissue box was nearly empty upon arrival. 5. Special Occasion Recognition: I had informed the hotel that this stay was a celebration for my family. Unfortunately, there were no gestures to acknowledge the occasion, which was disappointing. Even standard water bottles were priced at $20. 6. Additional Charges: While I understand the concept of resort fees, $56 felt excessive, which didn’t even include the parking.

Another 5 Start stay at the Venetian

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

We always stay at the Venetian when in Vegas. Their beds give the best night's sleep! In fact, we love the bed so much, we have my casino host looking into how we can purchase one. The suites are beautifully appointed and they are in the process of upgrading all the rooms. The Venetian and Palazzo are sister properties and have a great variety of restaurants from all price points to choose from. This time, we had a fabulous meal at Sushisamba. Their casino rewards system is very generous compared to other casinos. The proximity and access to the Sphere can't be beat.

We have stayed in other Vegas top hotels but we would come back without a second thought. I wish I was there right now!
