From art installations to a poet in residence, the Andaz London Liverpool Street captures London's exuberantly creative spirit. This classic Victorian hotel turned hip urban retreat is "a style coup for designer Sir Terence Conran," raves Fodor's in August 2005. Bedrooms are chic and sleek at this Luxury Resorts affiliate, while dining is some of the best in the city at Aurora, shimmering beneath a stained glass dome, and the Fishmarket with its seductive Champagne bar.

Afternoon tea today. Amazing food and tea, delicious and beautifully made. Stunning crockery made it even better. Highly recommended. The two gentlemen serving us were outstanding; a credit to your hotel. Location was perfect just outside Liverpool Street station, very easy to find. Oh and toilets were huge and thoroughly clean.

Lovely hotel with fantastic amenities however I paid over £400 for one night and then got billed with a discretionary £15.99 service on top which seems steep for service I received; by that I mean after checking in I never spoke to another member of staff!

Saddened by the service levels and as I m sure we have a guest profile the worst view ever (brick wall) breakfast staff and quality of food was v poor plenty staff just don’t know what they re doing We ve had issues before remained loyal as they have worked through them but this time I think time is up for us

I stayed at this property last week for 3 nights, having booked and fully paid through an agency. Upon check-in, I was asked to pay the amount again. Despite showing the agency voucher confirming the payment and being reassured that everything was in order, the next day I was charged the full amount on my credit card. To make matters worse, the security deposits are still pending on my card. This experience has been highly unprofessional and borderline dishonest. I cannot recommend this place, as such behavior is unacceptable and leaves a very bad impression. A clear lack of communication and customer service. Avoid if you can.

This place is not a 5 star hotel. We’ve only been here for 1 hour and so many things have already gone wrong. The only positive we’ve experienced so far is Sarah at the front desk (she was so sweet, got us checked in, and gave us waters). To start the bad slew of experiences, we were given dirty room keys by a front desk gal. One had brown spots all over it and we had to ask for new ones that weren’t disgusting. Immediate bad start - a clear sign of lack of cleanliness & lack of attention to detail. We had waited 15 minutes for our bags to come to the room and they hadn’t so we went back downstairs to fetch them ourselves. We were getting settled in our room and housekeeping barged in without knocking. She told us it was time to check out and they needed to clean…I told them no and that we had just checked in. Also, does this mean they hadn’t finished cleaning when they allowed us to check in? My husband went to use the restroom and closed the bathroom door, a picture that was on the wall, fell when he closed the bathroom door and SHATTERED all over the floor. Thank goodness neither of us were close enough to get hit by the flying glass. When the lady came to asses the situation, she didn’t even apologize. A picture that should have been BOLTED to the wall fell through us closing the bathroom door and they don’t even say sorry? Of course nothing was offered aside vacuuming/mopping up the glass. This is an unsafe hotel and something like this would never happen at the Four Seasons. When I have attempted to call the Andaz host or concierge, I’ve had to wait 5+ minutes while the phone relentless rings and nobody answers. Needless to say, do not stay here and we certainly NEVER will again - in London or at any of the other Andaz locations.
