Still the best afternoon tea in London…..just!
Just returned from my annual Christmas afternoon tea at Claridges. Lovely as usual and the choir was as festive and excellent as always. Food and tea both brilliant. Service was attentive although this did wane towards the end of the tea. From about 4.45pm onwards the excellent service and attention dropped off a tad and I had to wait over 15 minutes for a pot of tea and a further 15 minutes for my bill. This was a little disappointing. Chamim was as wonderful as always and it was nice to see his cheery smile once more! Still the best afternoon tea in London……just!

Returned to Claridges for my mother’s annual birthday treat. Excellent as always and made my mums 81st birthday celebrations go with a bang. Lunch was fabulous and service from Robert in the Reading Room second to none and attention to detail for all our guests excellent. Beds are soooo comfortable and rooms excellently appointed. Only slight disappointment was breakfast, below standard and service not what we usually get at Claridges, however, this didn’t dampen our stay and already booked our return visit by the time the wonderful John had seen us safely into our taxi to the station.

An absolutely wonderful experience every time! From the moment the doorman greets you to the moment the doorman says goodbye it’s like being in another world. The staff are so attentive without being intrusive nothing is an issue, and I don’t know how they do it but they seem to know what you want before you know yourself. Nothing is too much trouble, everybody begins to know you and you are treated as not just a commodity, you are treated as a guest as it should be when you go to a hotel such as Claridges. I could not recommend a better hotel that feels like home but with all the luxuries and amenities that you need for whatever reason that you are staying there. I would like to thank the staff again for their attentiveness and the way they are with us when we are there and we cannot wait to come back and see you again soon

Me and my boyfriend spend absolute great time here. Little touches, like happy anniversary well coming sweets. Beautiful presented room with separate living area and big bathroom and shower 👌 spot on. We will be back next year for sure 🥰🥰🥰

Festive weekend
My husband and I just returned from a weekend at Claridges. I have been visiting the hotel as a guest since 2008 and it’s my absolute favourite destination. We were lucky enough to stay in the Brooks suite which was out of this world. The festive afternoon tea complete with the choir was just incredible, the hotel is so atmospheric at Christmas, there is nowhere else quite like it. The facilities, decor, luxury is a given, however the thing that stands out more than anything else, is the service and the staff, absolutely everybody is so friendly, courteous, kind and helpful. Nothing is ever too much trouble and the attention to detail is staggering. Paul Jackson and his team have created something truly special and I look forward to many more visits.
