The pair of red brick townhouses that make up The Egerton House Hotel stands on 17th Century land that the alderman of London entrusted to slaves being held by Turkish pirates. A string of colorful characters inhabited the mansions through the decades, and remnants of history remain in each uniquely decorated room. Elaborate padded headboards, brocaded fabrics and original antiques combine to create an ambiance that is both stately and welcoming.

The Egerton House Hotel was perfect! Exactly what we had hoped we could find for a week in London. Beautiful property. Extraordinary, tasteful interior design. Tremendous house staff. Great breakfasts in the dining room. Fun afternoon tea. Great living room and bar area for drinks or dinner or tea! Knightsbridge neighborhood was great. Beautiful large room with sitting area(Room #32). Do yourself a favor. You will love The Egerton House.

Edgerton House Hotel is a very comfortable and stylish Country House Hotel in central London. This hotel offers every amenity and the staff are the shining light of the property. The location in London is ideal for both Natural History Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum, shopping, cafes and restaurants are all on the doorstep.

Our stay at Egerton House Hotel was absolutely fantastic! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating from the moment we checked in, and our room was spotless with luxurious bedding. Angel W. (Concierge) assisted me in every aspect of my stay. She arranged tours, made theater, and restaurant reservations. She arranged car pick-ups and drop-offs for me. Angel arranged to have a breakfast care package along with coffee ready for us when we departed for a very early excursion. She placed my dinner order and arranged to have it delivered to my room, and it was ready for us when we arrived. She absolutely was amazing and truly made The Egerton House Hotel my home away from home. Her attention to detail was impecable. The hotel's location in the heart of the city made it easy to explore everything on foot, and the breakfast buffet had a wide variety of delicious options, as well as a la carte menu. I especially appreciated the personalized welcome note in my room - it really made me feel valued as a guest. A lit votive candle and bath salt were waiting for us after each turn-down service. I requested a fresh pot of coffee each morning at 5 a.m. and it was delivered to my room along with a smile. We will most definitely return to the Egerton House Hotel again!!! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London, England.

We had the privilege of spending the Christmas holiday at the Egerton Hotel in London. This hotel beats out all of the big-box chain hotels in the area by a mile. It excels in everything it is and does. It is simply classic, while providing every modern necessity. The building is well appointed and maintained and furnished true to its time period, with beautiful furniture, mirrors and art that can be appreciated throughout. Our hotel room was lovely with a beautiful bathroom, large built in closets, and a four-poster queen bed with a pillow top mattress that was soft and firm at the same time. The room also had art pieces in the impressionist and black and white style that could be appreciated as well as beautiful bay windows with a settee. Our hotel room had a fruit and cheese plate and a wonderful welcome note waiting for us when we arrived. Make no mistake about it, this hotel’s greatest asset is its staff, who go above and beyond at every venture. Whether it was the concierge who greeted you every morning when you came down the stairs or when you returned back from an outing, or one of the waiters or waitresses in the the dining room, everyone one simply top notch. They still call a cab if you ask, can tell you where the most obscure monument in England is, walk you step by step to where the nearest Underground Station is, plus they still have nightly turndown service with a chocolate on your pillow every night. They even place a candle in the bathroom so that you have enough light to find your way without turning on lights in the middle of the night. You simply won’t find better. Many thanks to all who made our trip very special.

Jaques and all were so kind and helpful! The lift was not reliable at the time, and I am disabled. They upgraded us to a room with no stairs and a walk-in shower! They went above and beyond, even bringing breakfast to the tea room for us! They are truly a home-base in London. We had such a fantastic time! Recommend with the highest enthusiasm possible! Gorgeous hotel and delightful staff!!!
