The name of Xenia – is derived from the ancient Greek concept of hospitality shown to travelers from faraway lands. Travelers who arrive on the whitewashed and pillared doorstep of this elegant estate will find homey touches in modern surroundings – cheeky rustic fowl pillows bring a hint of English countryside to the big city.

This hotel was clean, beautiful, and in a great location. Service was excellent and we received great suggestions for meals and theatre from the front desk staff. The room is small but very elegant and served us well as we were out most days. Bathroom was also very clean and pretty with nice touches such as towel warmers and L'Occitane products. We were able to easily take the tube to get around London from this location; we also enjoyed seeing much of Kensington and felt safe in the surrounding area.

The staff at hotel Xenia are always amazing. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and at home. I am a former Marriott Ambassador Elite, so I have stayed at many properties around the world. I find the staff and experience at hotel Xenia among the best. Don’t overlook this hidden gem, you’ll find an amazing staff who work hard to earn your loyalty. Special acknowledgment to Mihail and the entire front desk team. Thank you for your kind and generous service.

From the moment I was greeted at the door by a well dressed guest relations gentleman, I knew it was good to be back. Both he and Naima the very accomplished receptionist who checked me in were extremely efficient until I checked out a few days later. The highlight of my 2 nights being each breakfast and dinner in their La Terrazza restaurant. Superb venue, staff and food. A very well staffed venue.

This is a boutique hotel and the rooms are very tiny, which is typical in London. I was on a solo trip and was barely able to walk around in the room. Thankfully, I spent most of my days exploring the city. The best thing about the room is the bathroom products are by L'occitane. FYI, the London Marriott Kensington is across the street and has larger rooms. Another big Issue! The walls are super thin. I could hear whole conversations. The guy next door was sick and coughed up a lung every night! I never said a word. I put my ear plugs in, took my melatonin and went to sleep. I was pretty quiet and only turned the television on twice at a low volume. The guy next door banged on the wall until I yelled for him to stop it. The hotel centrally located in Kensington on Cromwell Road. The Cromwell Hospital is next door and it is easy to get to the Natural History Museum, the Victoria and Albert Museum, Harrods and many restaurants and cafes via the bus and Picadilly train line. You can walk to the Earl's Court station (about 7 minutes) and the Gloucester Road Station (about 9 minutes). I found the Gloucester Road station easier to get to because it is a straight walk, no turns and it took me about 5 minutes to get to it each time. The restaurant is okay for drinks and small bites. I love the culture in London and know that good food can found elsewhere. I spent my time eating at African, Caribbean, Middle Eastern, and Asian restaurants. Customer service was fine and I did not experience any rudeness or lack of service. People were always quick to help.

a luxurious stay in the middle of Chelsea. This was a very welcome surprise. I have never stayed in this hotel but it was arranged by my secretary. The rooms were tidy and a bit small, but they were extremely comfortable in the hotel had a lovely staff lovely restaurant and bar and could not of been a more pleasing experience. It is very centrally located in Chelsea and convenient to many places in West London. I would highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely stay in this hotel again in the future. You will not be sorry.
