Staying at The Shard was insane, definitely one of the coolest experiences of my life. The views from the hotel are out of this world! I mean, you’re literally above the clouds, looking out over the entire city. The staff were super friendly and made everything so easy. I also checked out TING for dinner, and the food slapped. Not cheap, but totally worth it.

I'm just going to say, if you can see St. Paul's Cathedral from your bathtub and still find a reason to complain about life, then... This was a fine hotel, for certain. The staff were just a pleasure. They were so eager to please. They followed up often to make sure I was kept happy. The location was perfect for my O2 complex concert I wanted to see; it was close enough to the West End for the theatre shows I booked too. Their concierge staff certainly came through with suggestions in advance of my visit. One tip: you'll note that some of the bathtubs actually are visible from adjoining suites, so if you're not 1970s Scandinavian, you'll be careful to figure out how to lower just the part of the blinds that faces the neighboring room. (You have to work both switches at once.) _However._ _That's not all._ Also note that the glass panes outside the hotel can reflect your image to your neighbor's room even when the blinds that lead directly to the other room are closed. (I noticed this when the glass panes reflected my neighbor entering his bathtub.) Pro-tip! But wow, what a hotel. Gorgeous views everywhere; very comfortable rooms; fine food; kind staff; whatever you need. The breakfast buffet made me especially happy. If you want traditional Full English, it's all laid out; if you want Asian specialties like dumplings, you've got that; if you want your continental breakfast with croissants, pain chocolat, etc., that's there; fine cheeses, smoked salmon, oatmeal, egg dishes, mimosas, everything you might want. I'd be very happy to return here. Kudos!

Booked a room for my partner's 50th. Was a lovely experience. The staff were very thoughtful and there were a couple of little extras that really elevated the whole experience. The view is, of course, absolutely amazing, and the morning brekkie was fab too.

This a present from from our family and it really was a five star experience. We went for Sunday BrunchThe Shard is an amazing place to visit - the views were spectacular. The staff were amazing especially our server Asore. He was so helpful answering questions about the food and helping us.to choose our food. He was very knowledgeable about everything. friends The food was excellent. We were both amazed by the flavour of the tomato starter. We made different choices for the main course and both were delicious. This was followed by a buffet of cheeses and desserts. Included in the package was a glass of sparkling wine. It was a British wine and we enjoyed it so much we will be ordering some ourselves. Would highly recommend this
