Designer Philippe Starck conceived St Martins Lane London as a surrealist wonderland viewed through the looking glass of classic British eccentric taste. Cheeky and daring with a touch decadent, the lobby and social spaces are signature Starck style. It’s fitting that the hotel is situated in the bustling theatre district in Covent Garden - it is pure drama. Just ask the garden gnomes; this is classic London with a seriously seductive twist. Floor-to-ceiling windows at St Martins Lane pull the cityscape into each guest room, offering a dramatic perspective on the energetic city below. The Tim Andreas of Banjo design rooms evoke a sense of spaciousness and luxury by using a mix of both naturally inspired and modern materials. The overall effect is an ethereal, yet sensuous experience.

Great service by Monika and delicious vegan coffee parfait. Highly recommended in the heart of Covent Garden with relaxing music and great atmosphere. Decor and interior is excellent. Also great spot for catch up with friends and loved once 🤍

Great location very attentive staff and friendly. The breakfast is ok, sure there is better around but all fresh and tasty. Rooms are great had a corner room. One advice I could give is please don’t touch the aircon, the cleaning staff is cooking it down as if it is summer…😂👍

Wonderful location , extremely friendly staff , very clean rooms .. however it’s very noisy even though we were on the highest floor but we could still hear people In the street , busses and trucks passing by etc . I had to use ear plugs to sleep every night .. you could also hear the other guests In the hallways and doors slamming and opening , no sound proofing in the rooms at all . The room was very spacious and clean but not luxuries hence my 4 star rating .

Baffled at how this is a 5 star hotel??? No real extras or luxuries to make this a 5 star hotel at all. You can hear people in the room next to you really clearly, I could hear their whole conversation!! Room felt clinical and not cosy at all. Breakfast was ok, just standard hotel buffet. Service was slow when ordering a coffee. Shower was broken, bathroom not very clean, no milk for tea/coffee and no water in room. No Netflix or smart tv. The lights in the bedroom were really annoying and spent about 15 minutes turning int them all off and finding various switches. Comfy beds, if a little soft. Noisy and overpriced. You pay for location I guess.

Fab hotel - great location, brilliant rooms, great staff. Round the corner from Covent Garden in the heart of theatre land. Room fabulous. Lobby area a little bizarre and in need of attention in places. Staff absolutely can’t do enough for you though.
