Kimpton Fitzroy London

Really a great hotel with some small touches that were super appreciated. We arrived a little early to check in so we stored our luggage and went out for lunch. When we came back and checked to see if our room was ready we found that it was and our luggage was already delivered to our room. Never in all of my years of international travel has a hotel done this. Such a small thing that made such an impact. Overall a great hotel really close to everywhere we wanted to be in London. Would totally stay there again.

A spectacular building and a great renovation: it feels like walking into a museum. I went because a colleague had spoken highly of it and because the British Museum is just a stone's throw away, and it was not disappointed. My room was small, but comfortable (in London are all small...), with a beautiful and well-organized bathroom. The hotel itself is very nice, but the service has some flaws. They serve breakfast in two different restaurants, I went to the Burr: despite the concept of the restaurant being an informal bar, the waiter came to take my order after I had been there for over 10 minutes and then he brought me the eggs wrongly cooked. When I checked out I asked to keep my suitcase for a couple of hours so I could pop over to the British Museum and when I came back I realized that they had left my suitcase in the exact same place where I had left it, in plain sight next to the reception desk. Even though they definitely have security guards, it is very dangerous. Apart from these two small problems I recommend the Fitzroy even if it is VERY expansive.

My husband and I decided to mark our 15th year Wedding anniversary by having a Luxurious stay at the Kimpton Fitzroy in Central London. It was the best decision we made as the sheer architectural decor was mind blowing. The suite that we stayed in was immaculately flawless and had (by far) the most comfortable bed that we had ever slept on. Our room was beautifully littered with candles, rose petals, treats and a complimentary bottle of Champagne! We were truly blown away. Angela at guest relations went above and beyond to ensure we had the most memorable time. The service we received was that of a proper 5 star establishment and the hotel’s social hour (offering complimentary beverages and snacks) was also a nice touch. We will definitely be back and feel blessed to have created such beautiful memories.

Let me say, I am so pleased I picked the Kimpton for my stay in London - the building is exquisite. From the moment I entered, I was greeted with smiles and warm welcomes. Carlos and Maria at the desk were wonderful and explained everything to me in full detail. There was a lovely card from Jack and small cake on our desk when we arrived into our room - such a surprise! Our highlight of the stay was the Concierge - Sean and Joseph made sure we saw all the sights of London and even gave us some local tips to explore. Our travel agent had booked all our itinerary but we’ll be sure to come to the desk next time - these guys know what’s going on in London. We already plan to come back in the new year for our anniversary - can’t wait!
