Feeling at home
Great location, in front of The Congress and surrounded by the most relevant areas in Madrid. Perfect attention, the staff is always ready to help. Spacious room with free minibar and complimentary water and tea and coffee facilities and nice details. Linen of a good quality and plenty of amenities. East 47 restaurant is a must, you can have from a light bite to more developed dishes at any time and always receiving a smile back.

Great service by reception and superb service by concierge excellent breakfast ( best of our 10 day trip) Good location 2 reasons to not give 5 star review 1. Bar service very patchy - and only an expresso machine and small cups in room - suprised a 5 star hotel did not provide a kettle.supplying a kettle.

A Great Stay
A wonderful stay at Villa Real. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Fresh rose appeared on the first night and chocolates on the bed. Breakfast in the morning consisted of good quality fresh food and the hot food to order was delicious. The breakfast staff were very professional and attentive. Chris was very friendly and ensured that our coffee cups were kept filled! We ate there one evening and the meal was good especially the desserts!

Charming First Rate Hotel
What a lovely place. The hotel features a stunning collection of late Roman Empire mosaics and pottery from the 4th century(?). We got an upgraded room with a tiny balcony and a view of the Congreso de los Diputados (Deputies) building across the way. The room was a bit noisy, but the bathroom clean with a marble shower/tub with excellent water pressure and two sinks. The bed was luxuriously comfortable and the living area features a nice couch and desk. We got the daily breakfast where the very attentive staff offered a sumptuous buffet of fresh fruit, American cereals, various hams and sausage, good bread, yogurt and more, plus eggs, bacon, pancakes, blini with salmon and toast made to order. Good coffee and, for my wife, excellent British black tea. The Room Service menu was good also. Great location near the Thyssen and Prado museums and good dining nearby.
