NH Collection Madrid Abascal

The hotel is really good and service at the restaurant and bar was excellent. Good breakfast layout, good location and staff very friendly. Only concern was the checkout process where one of the reception attendant was a bit obnoxious in addressing our checkout. Reason I rate service as average. But regardless, I recommend it.

I have stayed at the NHC Abascal many times over a number of years when travelling to Madrid for work. Although maybe not the most prestigious or fancy hotel in Madrid, it is certainly my favourite. The whole team at the hotel are fantastic and make you feel so welcome and special as a guest there. Everyone from the bar staff (Bogdan, Jesus, Javier etc.), to the Front desk (Juan Carlos, Lorena, Sandra, Ana and David etc), give a first class service - and that is what makes this hotel special. The food at the restaurant is beautifully prepared and presented, the drink selection in the bar is wide and varied. Breakfast is a buffet style with many options available. Location is great - close, but not too close, to Centro, easy access to Bernabeu stadium and Calle Ponzano (a street of many bars - El DeCano being my favourite) within a few minutes walk. Metro stations (Gregorio Maranon & Alonso Cano) are within a couple of minutes walk of the hotel. A wonderful stay - I'll definitely be heading back there!

The staff at the NH Collection Madrid Abascal were fantastic especially in the restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble. The service from Bogdan was amazing. The room was very comfortable, spacious, well equipped and peaceful. Would recommend

Bogdan was excellent - he called me mr bullock. I also liked all the staff. The hotel is clean. The lift has a nice view. The general quality of service was high. There is not much more to write, the hotel does what it says and it does it well. Thank you.
