Good hotel overall, but more expected from a 5*

Nice hotel, good location and good staff
We had a wonderful 2 night stay at NH Collection, Madrid Prado. The reception staff was super co-operative and Ms Lucia Varade at the guest relations assisted us well in organizing our tours and tickets. Ms Albudena Santos De Castillo, Front office manager was very helpful and personallu checked upon our stay comfort multiple times. The hotel has got a good breakfast spread as well. And there was a taxi stand just next to the hotel. The hotel is walking distance from Atocha Station a d and at Central Madrid square where everything is easily accessible. Overall a comfortable stay and will definitely wish to come back anytime soon.

Excellent 5 star hotel in madrid
Excellent 5 star hotel in madrid. Location is near to the Retiro park and old city which means has perfect location. The only uncomfortable thing was that the hotel didn't have ita own parking lot. So better to use a taxi. However a public parking space was near. Food was nice. When I go to Madrid I'll use this hotel again.

Decent hotel, just ok…
I stayed here just after New Year’s Day after staying at the Sofitel Barcelona skipper. The Sofitel was a stunner in comparison so that colors this review. The NH paseo del Prado was a nice hotel. The staff were efficient and courteous. The rooms were small but decently appointed. The bed was comfortable, you could change the temperature of the room. The bathroom was very nice with green marble fixtures rain shower head and a bidet, but the room was quite small. There was no view at all out of the window- literally a wall about a foot infront of the window. The breakfast, while free and plentiful, was very processed and not fresh. The location was fine, and truly everything was ok… but nothing was spectacular or wowed us.

December Holidays Getaway
Breakfast buffet was fantastic. All employees were fantastic. Cleanliness was great and very good all around value! Certainly will continue to use NH hotels.
