Great location, wonderful staff and the best breakfast buffet we've ever had! The rooms could use a little freshening up - accessories (decorative pillow, ottoman, desk chair) were a little rough, but the room seemed clean. Would have been nice to have a luggage rack. It was nice to have a room facing the park and even though we were on the first floor, it was pretty quiet at night.

The hotel is beautiful and right across from Parque Retiro and close to numerous restaurants and attractions. Our room had a good-sized bed for my husband and me and bunk beds for the kids. The room was large enough that we didn't feel "on top" of each other. The shower was AMAZING--perfect temp and great pressure. Everything was clean, and the room was modern yet still charming. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. It was a little tricky to find the restaurant, and the service was slow even by Spanish standards, so maybe plan on eating somewhere else for lunch or dinner. The breakfast buffet was good, but we don't like buffets because we don't eat enough to get value from them. I would have preferred an option for a few pastries and coffee for people who don't want the entire buffet. I would definitely stay here again for the excellent location and the really spacious and comfortable room.

Really enjoyed staying at this hotel with my spouse and two kids. We had one of the family rooms with bunk beds and a separate bedroom for the parents. Plenty of space, very clean and comfortable, with a beautiful view over the park. The location of this hotel is fantastic. The staff is also extremely kind and helpful. Breakfast is great.

Comfortable rooms. Ideal location across from Retiro Park and easy walk to Prado or Atocha Station. Helpful staff. Great breakfast. Great value for the price. Will stay again when next in Madrid. Comfy bed, nice amenities. Couldn't ask for more.

Actually quite shocked at the reviews, many of which must be fake because this place is seriously dated and feels very strange. The decor is half sci fi and half cheap. Really strange vibe. Again, the only reason I am Working this is because I travel a lot and there’s no way this is the 50th best ranked hotel in Madrid. Staff at front desk perfectly nice but disheveld. Didn’t tell us anything. In summary - this is a 2 / 3 star hotel at best with a good location. Room was pretty dirty and the decor is falling apart.
