Great hotel with great staff
Staying here as part of our honeymoon trip and the hotel has been brilliant throughout. The staff are exceptionally friendly and efficient, the room is spotless and well appointed, and the location could not be better with everything within a walkable distance. A few really nice touches by the front of house team as well to recognise our honeymoon trip which we have really appreciated. All in all we would definitely recommend and would choose to stay here again for sure.

Magic in Madrid
Everything about the venue and service was spot on. Great attention to detail and the staff were friendly and helpful. Great central location with so many attractions within walking distance, yet the hotel was quiet and homely. Great stay in a great city!

Loved it here
Great room, wonderful staff and super helpful - this is my 2nd visit to The Principal and would to return again soon. Location is prefect and the breakfast is ace. The terrace bar is beautiful. Thank you to all the staff for a lovely visit to an incredible city!

Fabulous stay
I had a wonderful stay and all the staff were really friendly and helpful. In particular it was fabulous to sit out on the terrace each evening with a drink just enjoying the evening warmth and being able to wind down after hectic days working. I also loved the different gift left each evening with the turn down service - my favourite was the lavender bag, just gorgeous.

A perfect hotel for a perfect city.
Our experience with this hotel was perfect. The staff provides world class service. Very small detail was considered. From turning down the bed in the evening, to leaving special notes for us during our time there, they were fantastic. The restaurant I. The 6th floor was wonderful. Their breakfasts were perfect and the dinners exceeded every expectation. The views both from our hotel and the terrace was amazing. And the location was perfect. Only steps away from the Metro, and a short walk to shopping, museums, and more. If you are an American Express, customer, I would highly recommend this hotel. Book through American Express travel and you will get a lot of perks!
