From making our reservation to arrival and departure, the staff here are outstanding. We were only in for a night and all in all it was nice. The room can definitely use a bit of a refresh. I understand this is a historic inn but some furnishings and rugs are hurting and either need repair or replace. The picnic basket breakfast replacing a regular breakfast is a nice touch but is a shortcut. Offering is an egg sandwich which is never going to be as good as freshly made. Other B&B's in this area still offer freshly made in the morning at similar pricing or less for an overnight stay. Although we enjoyed the night, we would likely try elsewhere next time.

This was our third stay at the Inn over the past 8 years, or so. While we do still enjoy it, the place is looking a bit tired. (See photo of dirty arm chair.) Room cleaning, or daily housekeeping, is non existent due to staff shortages. Old buildings don’t have central air conditioning, but our window A/C unit really couldn’t cool our room on a September day! Really not quite a B&B anymore bc not enough morning staff to handle table service. (This is really a shame, bc we remember how great it was 4 years ago). What you’ll get is a nice breakfast basket, that you ordered the night before. You can still enjoy your basket in the dining room, but there is no service to go with it. Sad, but this may be a sign of the times. Dinner at the Inn is still quite good, and there are several excellent restaurants within walking distance to complement your visit to Manchester.

We have stayed and dined in the area for decades and had dinner here last year prompting us to return for a short visit and dinner. The Inn is excellent, room was clean, comfortable, quiet and very well appointed. The staff very friendly and accommodating. Dinner was excellent and creative. Breakfast baskets were appreciated but could use a few more choices. We will return.

This inn is picturesque and lovely. Each one is set up like a private little apartment. The furnishings we very nice, and staff were very accommodating. The town is wonderful with many outlets restaurants. We would definitely stay here again. We didn’t want to leave!

It's a great B&B. Great helpful staff, super comfortable bed and a great bathroom. Stayed in Snow Flake room. 3 very minor quibbles - first, they need to have more outlets on BOTH sides of the bed, and the radio's should have connections for newer phone chargers. Next the TV should be a smart TV. Last but not least, I wish there was an option for traditional breakfast served by waiters in the dining room. Picnic basket worked out fine, but that's my preference. Again - minor quibbles - had a GREAT stay! :)

It's our home away from home. We have stayed in many of the various suites and Each one is unique. Breakfast is unbelievable with two fireplaces to enjoy. The view of the mountains is breathtaking. The innkeepers are very accommodating. I would highly recommend this for any couple looking for a romantic and relaxing get away. It's our favorite!
