The Peabody Memphis is as well known for stupendous service and luxury living as it is for its marching ducks. The 13-story hotel and Memphis landmark opened in 1869 and has been a place of privilege ever since. Part of Preferred Hotels & Resorts, a member of the well-established Preferred Hotel Group, is located just two blocks from famed Beale Street and near the Peabody Place entertainment complex. Its collection of traditional rooms and suites, including pet-friendly accommodations, are elegantly appointed with rich hues and regal furnishings. Residents have a fondness for The Peabody, and the hotel's Memorabilia Museum documents its place in history through a series of displays.

We had a wonderful experience at the Hotel Peabody. The main attraction are the ducks and they did not disappoint. The duck master is amazing - very personable, super friendly. The hotel is beautiful with very attentive staff, restaurant food was quite good, and it is a walkable distance to Beale Street and the Mississippi River. The room was a decent size, quiet and had all the modern amenities we needed. We would definitely consider staying here the next time we visit.

Unique hotel and atmosphere! Only place expectations not exceeded was the Grill. Love the lobby bar and ducks, friendly staff

I loved this beautiful hotel. The Christmas decorations, the hotel itself and its beauty. The staff and our room was so comfortable.

Duck Master Doug did a wonderful job making our honorary duck master experience absolutely magical (even for grown adults in their mid 50s) 😁 The mini rubber duckies floating in our drinks were a super fun surprise and we enjoyed finding all of the ducks throughout the hotel. Staying at the Peabody Hotel was a wonderful start to a wonderful vacation in Memphis! The location is also conveniently close to Beale St and various restaurants. We highly, highly recommend the Peabody!

Lobby and Ducks are nice. Outside of that don't expect much. They rave about being known as the “South's Grand Hotel,” but southern hospitality has been lost at the Peabody. Our room did not have heat with the temperature outside in the 20s. Requested extra blankets, brought sheets. Then switched unit to only heat. So, you either get 50 degrees or 77 degrees per the engineer. Additionally, bathtub water was brown when we tried to run a bath. Finally, several people in our group also mentioned the walls and how you could hear conversations in the rooms next to them. Our room was at the far end, so it was not as bad. Spoke to front desk and was promised manager would contact me on my cell. Home now, still no call...
