About the Hotel
The Peabody Memphis is as well known for stupendous service and luxury living as it is for its marching ducks. Great Memphis Hotel.
The Peabody is a great Southern Dame! The hotel is worth going out of your way to visit and stay a while. I would plan a trip to Memphis just to stay there. The staff are awesome throughout the entire hotel and conference areas!

Could have stayed somewhere else for much less money and bigger rooms
Furry friends package had small adjoining room with thin walls to a family with kids who woke us up 3 times starting at 10pm as they entered and scaring the pup as she thought they were trying to get in the room. The “queen” bed was small for a queen and not as comfortable as we hoped from the way it was advertised on their site. We expected a mattress as comfortable as home or better for this establishment. The bathroom also very small and outdated. The shower head looked like it needed a good cleaning or replaced.

NYE party trip
The hotel of the South was great, as it usually is. However, we purchased tickets not only for the party but to attend the party as VIP guests. What we got was nothing like it appeared it would be from the advertisement we saw online. In fact I went to the online account from an email I received from the Peabody. We had no where to sit, nor a table to sit at if we didn't want to dance. The food was not as it was advertised until much later in the course of the party and by that time we had eaten from a lessor quality of food that had been brought out. The band had it's amplifiers to their speakers so high that it distorted the sound of the instruments and the singers voices to the point you couldn't even make out what the song they were sing was. I enjoyed the room and the lobby area but I will never attend the NYE party there again unless they do some major changes.

Perfection!
We love staying at the Peabody! We brought our little boy who is five and he is now in love with it too. When you walk in you're greeted by the beautiful lobby and the cute ducks swimming in the fountain. Everything is clean and smells amazing. Our room was an upgraded room but it was very spacious. We had turn down service with chocolates and robes. Everything is just perfect when we stay there. We've stayed there for years and will continue to do so. We love the Peabody!
