The Ritz-Carlton, Mexico City

This hotel is stunningly beautiful with the most spectacular views over Chapultepec Park. Our room was modern and spacious - bathroom had a gorgeous deep soaking tub and spacious standing glass shower and we loved watching the sunset over Mexico City from our terrace each evening. The highlight of our stay was the staff. Francisco, one of the bellmen, was so warm and bubbly and made us feel so welcome. We loved him and think he’d be an amazing general manager someday with his genuine care for people and ability to communicate with so much heart and compassion. Cant wait to come back!

The service at this hotel is unparalleled. Traveling as a solo female guest, I felt very safe and secure in this stunning hotel. This is an extremely clean and high tech type of property with every amenity you can possibly dream of in an ideal location. After developing an upper respiratory issue, the staff at this hotel went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. I would like to give a shout out to Ana, Carlos and Diego who really took care of me by providing a humidifier, special teas, soups and bath salts to name a few. They even offered to call a Dr. for me, but my issue cleared up soon after I arrived at this property. My daughter lives in Mexico City and I can guarantee you, that I will return to this stunning property. I wish to extend my gratitude to this hotel and its impeccable staff for truly caring. I don't think I have seen this kind of attention to detail in a long time. I also want to mention that the room was gorgeous with a super comfortable bed and a balcony overlooking the city where you one can relax and watch the sunset behind the mountains.

The Ritz-Carlton Mexico City exceeded every expectation during my stay. The staff was phenomenal—genuinely warm and attentive. The concierge deserves special mention for arranging unforgettable experiences, including a helicopter tour that conveniently departed from the hotel’s helipad. It was a highlight of our trip and an incredible way to see the city. Dining at the hotel’s restaurant was another standout experience. Every dish was exceptional, but the pollo mole was a revelation—rich, flavorful, and perfectly executed. I highly recommend it to anyone dining there. The bar had a chic, lively atmosphere and offered expertly crafted cocktails, making it an ideal spot to unwind after a day of exploring. From start to finish, this stay felt like a perfect balance of luxury and adventure. Whether you're seeking relaxation or curated experiences, The Ritz-Carlton Mexico City delivers in every way.

It’s a beautiful hotel in a great location. However the attention to detail and service quality are surprisingly lack luster for the Ritz Carlton brand. Lifetime Platinum here and have stayed at other great RC’s before, which made the shortcomings here even more dissatisfying. Starting with the good: - The hardware is generally good. Great location, great views - Gym and spa were beautiful - The bell staff were very friendly - Concierge was great with helping with restaurant bookings (if they didn’t forget to respond) And with the not so good: - Attention to detail was all around… off. - Prior to arrival, I confirmed a restaurant booking with the hotel. I made sure to reconfirm - they had forgotten to confirm with the restaurant and the reservation was no longer available. - We were given an accessibility room (understand if hotel is at capacity) but the sliding bathroom door was broken which didn’t become apparent until the middle of the night. Good thing we’re able bodied and could still open it. You’d think they’d double check those things for an accessibility room. - Also water would go all over the floor from the shower due to poor design. - The balcony of my room had strange plastic still wrapped near the ceiling, which marred an otherwise nice view. - Room service was repeatedly slow and inaccurate. Asked for spoons and instead got knife + fork. Asked for kettle, got a broken one that didn’t work. Took 20+ min each time. - I also told the hotel before arriving that we were there for my partner’s birthday. They came by with a “gift” - a bottle of their free water and a small chocolate piece. Really Ritz Carlton? Better to tell me that you don’t offer anything for birthdays! In summary - there are many luxury hotel / Bonvoy hotel choices in CDMX. I’ve stayed at a handful of RC’s before and this was definitely the most disappointing one. Look forward to staying elsewhere when we’re back.

beautiful hotel in such a great location! Service was ok for being a Ritz but we were upgraded to a very nice double bedroom with a balcony. Amenities were great. Clony and Samuel were outstanding though ! Rooms are spacious , very well kept and i love the lighting in the rooms , very intimate and inviting. Carlotta Reforma is a big plus in this hotel!! Its beautiful and cocktails and dinner were both phenomenal!
