The Ritz-Carlton, Mexico City

I want to thank Ritz Carlton- México City Laura Garcia and team for allowing me this wonderful experience at Ritz-Carlton. From the time of check-in, when the attendants took my bag, to the gentleness of the associate of the front desk asking for my name and ID. The welcome water was delicious. The attendants that walked me to my room and explained all my amenities and room technology. I immediately started jumping for joy. I made myself an espresso and drank it while I scanned the delightful view of Chapultepec Park, Chapultepec Castle, Ferris wheel, and the city skyline. The next day I perused the spa and gym and decided to give it a go. It was precisely what I needed to get my energy and rest back. After, I took a tranquil bath and used the bath salts the room attendant gave me. The next morning I was woken by the panoramic glimpse of the new day. The 430 sq ft King, Park View, Terrace room was enough space to feel like it was my private apartment to compliment my minimalist lifestyle. The bed was firm. The covers were smooth. The pillows might have been clouds, not too sure. I decided to go to the 38th floor and try out their Carlotta Reforma Sky Bar. At first there were not any tables available, so I was seated inside in the comfortable seating area, but not for long, because a table opened up in the terrace and I was able to enjoy the beautiful night views of the city. It was like seeing millions of holiday trees lit up at once. Thank you for the experience once more. A truly breathtaking one.

The place is out of this world. We had an excellent stay even though it was only for just one night. The service was amazing and the restaurants were delicious. Also, we went to Ling Ling for dinner. The rooms are very spacious and the soaps and amenities are awesome. Thank you Ritz Carlton Mexico City will definitely be back.

We went to the cocktail lounge at 3:30 p.m., had a drink and made a reservation for dinner at 6:30. We saw the receptionist make the reservation, but at 6:30, they had already lost it! The hostess made us sit and wait for a table because we were staying at an adjacent hotel, not the Ritz-C. The music in the dining room was absolutely blasting! I don't know how the chefs managed with the DJ right next to them and the walls practically shaking with the volume! NOT a relaxing birthday dinner for my husband. Food and service were fine from our waiter, but not the ambience we were hoping for when we made the dinner reservation. There was no indication that this was going to occur when we were there for our quiet afternoon cocktail. Can't recommend this.

This hotel is stunningly beautiful with the most spectacular views over Chapultepec Park. Our room was modern and spacious - bathroom had a gorgeous deep soaking tub and spacious standing glass shower and we loved watching the sunset over Mexico City from our terrace each evening. The highlight of our stay was the staff. Francisco, one of the bellmen, was so warm and bubbly and made us feel so welcome. We loved him and think he’d be an amazing general manager someday with his genuine care for people and ability to communicate with so much heart and compassion. Cant wait to come back!

The service at this hotel is unparalleled. Traveling as a solo female guest, I felt very safe and secure in this stunning hotel. This is an extremely clean and high tech type of property with every amenity you can possibly dream of in an ideal location. After developing an upper respiratory issue, the staff at this hotel went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. I would like to give a shout out to Ana, Carlos and Diego who really took care of me by providing a humidifier, special teas, soups and bath salts to name a few. They even offered to call a Dr. for me, but my issue cleared up soon after I arrived at this property. My daughter lives in Mexico City and I can guarantee you, that I will return to this stunning property. I wish to extend my gratitude to this hotel and its impeccable staff for truly caring. I don't think I have seen this kind of attention to detail in a long time. I also want to mention that the room was gorgeous with a super comfortable bed and a balcony overlooking the city where you one can relax and watch the sunset behind the mountains.
