The Oberoi, Mumbai

Oberoi is the GOLD STANDARD of Hospitality..The staff is very welcoming and smiling..My Son was unwell and they did everything possible to help us take care of him...Over all food ,house keeping makes you happy and keep coming back for more....

Overall a pleasant experience . The rooms were cosy and view from the room was awesome. The food was fantastic. Hospitality was at its best. Just one concern on pricing . How come tour operators are quoting less rates than the hotel booking staff.

This hotel never fails to impress its clients. A quiet luxurious space to recover from the busyness of Mumbai. Immaculate rooms, high quality delicious breakfast, excellent service levels and outstanding views. Excellent quality of bed, linen and bath products. Great dining options and a bar with a stunning view. Superb spa services - try the signature massage with kasa bowls. Ideal location for morning walks on Marine Drive and watch the sunset from poolside or your ocean facing room. Compared to other luxury hotels, this one exceeds in all departments and deserves 6 stars!

I stayed here in room 1561 (a "1 King Bed, Ocean View") for two nights in January 2025. Rating: 8.5/10 Positives: • My high-floor room was spacious, modern, and immaculately clean, offering panoramic views of Marine Drive and the Arabian Sea. It served as a peaceful sanctuary from the bustling streets below. • As with other Oberoi properties I visited, the staff was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to guest satisfaction. • The breakfast buffet was outstanding, with an option to order additional à la carte items. I especially enjoyed trying the delicious Vada Pav in a safe, curated environment, avoiding the potential risks of street food. • The outdoor Eau Bar provided a memorable cocktail experience with serene views of the water and an endless supply of snacks. While enjoying a gin and tonic, a bartender surprised me with a complimentary flatbread topped with tomato, avocado, and burrata, which was both thoughtful and delicious. • Before my long journey back to the U.S., I ended my stay with a relaxing foot massage at the spa—a perfect way to unwind. • I was pleasantly surprised to find a TV channel offering live NFL games from the U.S., a delightful touch of home. • At checkout, the duty manager, Shivansh, expressed genuine concern for the minor issues I encountered during my stay and kindly adjusted the bill to help offset them. This level of care and responsiveness left a lasting positive impression. Negatives: • Upon check-in, my room had a malfunctioning toilet that made a loud noise every 60 seconds. While the issue was promptly addressed, it required the repairman to replace internal components, which took some time. This is something that should have been identified and resolved before my arrival. • The airport greeter and chauffeur service fell short compared to my experience at The • New Delhi. The greeter and driver were waiting in a different location from where I emerged, making it a hassle to link up with them. Additionally, despite arranging a Mercedes E-Class, I was instead met with an economy vehicle, with no explanation provided for the change. I would have appreciated proactive communication from the hotel before my stay to confirm my preferences for this service, especially since I was willing to pay for it. • While I appreciated having two high-quality TVs in my room with an impressive channel selection, I experienced intermittent issues with both TVs where the HDMI cable box couldn’t be detected, causing some inconvenience during my stay.
