The Mykonian region of Aleomandra is named after the sacred Delian stables that, according to myth, provided shelter to the horses of the Olympic god Apollo. Centuries later, Kalesma Mykonos rises out of that same Mykonian earth to become one with the legends. ‘Kalesma’ means ‘inviting’ in Greek, a word that best expresses the ethos of our privately owned luxury boutique hotel. We welcome travelers into our exclusive hideaway to share in our special slice of the Mediterranean.

From the moment you make your reservation to the time you arrive on the island to your stay at Kalesma Mykonos, you are made to feel important and welcomed. The staff at every juncture is helpful, knowledgable, caring and compassionate to make your stay with them the best stay you can possibly have. What a great team at Kalesma! Kostas is a great chef, Eleni was a delightful person in the restaurant that took care of us, most days was always a breath of fresh air and accommodating. George the driver from the moment he met us at port to the time he dropped us off to go onto the next spot was very helpful in educating us about the island and took great care of us. The front desk staff was very accommodating and helpful with ideas of what to see and do, where to go etc. The rooms were unbelievable! Well appointed, comfortable, large and with great views. Our housekeeping staff always did an amazing job, every day and every night, and was helpful and quick when there was something we needed. The passion you see from the owner to the staff is infectious. This is certainly a top of the list hotel for anyone who stays here, I assure you. If you want a place to rest and relax, I would suggest you stay here. Fantastic job Kalesma Team!

Amazing place! The best infrastructure, service and food you can get! They go beyond imagination to make your stay relaxed and perfect. We have never stayed in a hotel which really made us feel at home 100%! Great energy and vibes. Impossible to complain about anything. You pay a fair amount, but get back way more!

This hotel is by far the best hotel. Every detail is so well thought out and the hotel is pure luxury. The pictures in the website cannot even capture the full beauty and true luxury of this hotel. The owner is also so personable, went to guests at each meal making sure the stay was perfect. He really truly put his heart and soul into creating this gem and it truly shows. This love for the hotel and priority of customer experience has translated to the staff in spades. From welcome drinks to personalized concierge to hotel car and more, every service was provided with a smile and pride for the hotel. I am dreaming of the day I will come back to Mykonos and stay at this hotel.

Kalesma Mykonos is perched on a bougainvillea-ladened Greek hillside overlooking Ornos Bay about 15 minutes from the town of Mykonos. My One Bedroom Kalesma Suite was an absolute knockout with spacious footprint and boasting of custom furnishings and touches of local artisan pieces. The pinnacle perk; however, is the outdoor living space (endowed with sea views) complete with kitchen, dual dining area, sun lounges and the crown jewel of the package........a private infinity pool. The bath is luxuriously outfitted with a walk-in shower (with a sister outdoor shower), a freestanding bath enhanced pool views. Pere Ubu is an all day restaurant pumping out excellent Cycladic dishes like Sea Bass and Lamb Tartar. After I fly over the menu, I selected the Pickled Octopus.....deliciously zingy. The Pere Ubu Pool Bar is a watering hole that sports inventive cocktail concoctions. The Aloni Sunset Lounge is a popular spot and is decked out with a centerfold fire pit, an ideal area for sunset watching. In lieu of a future spa facility in the making, in-room spa treatments are available to guests as well as a high-tech fitness gym. So, if you want a hideaway in a luxurious retreat set in a natural Greek setting................ ........then try the ...............Kalesma Mykonos...........an exclusive Mediterranean sanctuary.

Kalesma is a special place. You don't find the same attention detail at a hotel and restaurant in other places. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and gorgeous. The views across the property are mesmerizing. The food at the restaurant (Pere Urbu) was among the best we had on the island (try the vegan bougatsa for breakfast and the cauliflower based tarama). And the Kalesma team provided such warm and personal service (thank you Vangeli and colleagues!). Also don't miss Kalesma's little chapel, which has the most unique iconography I have ever seen. For us, any return to Mykonos will be to Kalesma.
