So nice to have a luxury hotel deliver luxury in a comfortable way, down to every detail. The room was spacious, bed was perfect, amenities all around…and the staff was so friendly and welcoming. Mariam was an all star at breakfast and we loved the fresh delicious food (rock n roll shrimp !). I look forward to my next Conrad experience

Beautiful rooms with every amenity you could imagine. We stayed in a suite with a corner location. The suite was luxurious but without being pretentious. Modern and classy best describes our room. The staff were friendly and polite and we were always greeted with a warm welcome each time we entered the lobby.

AWFUL. RUDE. ARROGANT. Why does the staff at the front desk need to be so rude. Does the Conrad train them to be unfriendly? Austin treated us so poorly. In a town that has lots of hotel options including the Four Seasons, why would you stay at this terrible hotel? Please go anywhere else.

I booked the Conrad Nashville through the Amex FHR program. In terms of the facilities, I enjoyed my visit to the Conrad Nashville. I thought the room itself was modern, spacious, and overall well-designed. I appreciated the automatic light presets and the curtains. The Byredo toiletries were very nice. The restaurant on-site (Blue Aster) served quality food, though I think the room-service service and delivery fees were excessive. However, my experience was tainted (leading to this 2 star review instead of a 5 star review that I would otherwise give) by my very poor checkout experience. I was assisted at Checkout and printed a folio, which I reviewed and noticed that the charges were incorrect because my FHR $60 breakfast credit was not applied correctly. I pointed this out and asked for this to be fixed, which I was told would take a few minutes and thus waited in the lobby. However, 20 minutes later, this issue was still not fixed, and I had already scheduled a ride to the airport and thus had to leave. I had been hoping to get this issue resolved before leaving, but understood this was not possible and thus planned to call. I was again told by the front desk that this should be all set within a few minutes after the manager reviewed it and that I should be receiving an updated folio by email within 1 hr. When I called 1.5 hrs later because the issue had still not been fixed, I had an extremely difficult time even getting in touch with the front desk. I called and the front desk picked up after several minutes on hold, who then said they would transfer me to a manager who did not pick up. After this call ended because the manager did not pick up, I then called back again and was placed on hold for 20 minutes. I ended up hanging up and calling again, waiting on hold for 10 more minutes, and then eventually the call was answered by the concierge, who was actually very kind and said he would pass my information along to the manager. I later received a call 30 minutes later from the manager, who said she would resolve the issue by correcting the balance and also comp the rest of my charges as a courtesy given the issues with this. She said this should be fixed in the next 1 hr or so. Many hours later, I check my folio and the charges are still not completely correct. I thus called the front office the next day, and they weren't really able to explain the charges and refunds. In the end, I felt this wasn't worth the hassle anymore over the amount I was overcharged by. It is not really the money at this point, but rather the hassle of the situation (spending at this point 2 hours to try to resolve it), difficulty in communicating with the hotel, and also the lack of followthrough on what was promised. I have stayed at prior Amex FHR and Hotel Collection hotels and have NEVER had this issue before. Interestingly, I think this is a common problem at this hotel of not applying credits properly because I heard several people (3 different other people) at the front desk with this exact same problem while I was trying to get this resolved. If you stay here through Amex FHR or have Hilton status, please make sure to review your folio carefully at the end of your stay!

We had a great stay at the Conrad. Loved our corner king room, it was one of the most comfortable hotel rooms we've stayed in. Big, well laid out, good closet space. No drawers except in the bedside tables, but plenty of shelf space. The bed was comfortable, with very good functional bedside tables - 3 drawers, power, lights. The bathroom was perfect, except for the wimpy shower pressure. Two spacious vanities, natural light, a lighted makeup mirror, robe hooks. And we got yummy shortbread cookies with evening turndown. Service was excellent throughout the hotel, and our server at breakfast, Mariam, was particularly outstanding. The food was good too. There's a Starbucks next door, and a house car available for dropoff only, no pickups. But we walked everywhere, the Gulch restaurants and Broadway honky tonks are within walking distance.
