If you want to go somewhere where there's a beach and you can be mostly alone but have access to great beaches, tons of activities, water park and more. This is the place. Go during September when its off season and everyone has just gone back to school. The place is great and nobody is there. No reserving chairs at the beach. Have the whole pools to yourself and your other. It's great. One the downside. The food is stupid expensive. Assume you are going to spend at least $150 a day for two people without alcohol. There is almost nowhere to get cheap food. That being said most of the food is very good and we enjoyed. I would say most food is double the price of the states or more. If you can buy two lifestraw bottles from Amazon before you come to save a little on the cost of water. $10 bottles are crazy. Probably spend 200 just on water while we were here or more. Buffett is closed during off season so you will be dinning normal at the restaurants Had a great stay. Taking out a small business loan to pay off the food. lol

It was just way too expensive for the average person. So many families dropped out because of the high cost of staying at the resort.

My friends and I came here to rest due to having a stressful year. We had a really nice time resting at the beach and doing activities at the Dolphin Cay. We wished the photos were a little cheaper but it was still a lovely time. Our rooms were cleaned every day and they offered towels for the pool. The food was really good and fresh and the sea had a lot of fish in it.

Amazing holiday, great weather , great facilities, plenty to do , staff friendly and extremely polite . The place is sooooo clean and groomed to perfection. I could not fault this experience and I don’t usually do reviews . If your looking for an on resort experience then you’d be hard pressed to find better to be honest. One place that I’d recommend outside the resort is JAWS beach. Whilst the beach was ok, the water was truly amazing … warm, rich in marine life and very private if you go in the week.

I have now stayed in every Atlantis resort. Without doubt they have all been fabulous until The Reef. This is the worst. If you want family self catering accommodation then stay at Harborside. Its cleaner the staff are amazing you get umbrellas around the pool - NO UMBRELLAS AT THE REEF POOLS. No in room washer dryer (yes you do get that at Harborside). The room was a ground floor unit with months of trash directly outside the patio in the bushes. The outlets in the bathroom did not work, the toilet broke, broken light fittings, crumbs still visible on the kitchen counter and at least two power outages every day. The entire suite - a 1 Bed unit was generally tired and has not been updated since it was built by the look of it. Lots of dark wood and marks on the carpet. Upon asking to be moved we were told there was nowhere to move us?? The time of year is quietest the resort has - less then 50% occupancy we were informed. Asked to speak to a manager - at 5pm there was no manager? Asked to speak to a manager in the next 24 hours - no contact from anyone. After escalating the complaint we were offered a move with only 3 days left to go. Wedding anniversary ruined. And did I mention no umbrellas, as some idiot in management thought umbrellas did not look nice!!!!! I am fair skinned red head so no umbrella is a non-starter. The two pool areas were clean and plentiful comfy sunbeds - probably because there were no guests using them. Like us families with children were having to hike across the resort to find a pool with umbrellas. I would suggest out of around 250 sunbeds the whole week we there about 8 were in use. The rest of the resort and restaurants are fantastic just stay at any of the others available.
