The Concierge team was very professional. They were so helpful. The food was amazing from the restaurants to the room service. The staff was super friendly and always there to help you. Service and food..new level of fabulousness!. We were impressed with food offerings and service provided by Arin. Wonderful experience. Arin explained food options and was really engaging. We would return again. Lovely atmosphere and enjoyed the ritual with glass budda.

The Palace thats lost its charm….
The Leela Palace Delhi has long been a second home for us a sanctuary of elegance and warmth in the heart of the capital. Since its opening, it’s been a non-negotiable stop on our travels, not just for its architectural beauty, but for the unmatched sense of being the only guest that mattered. It was once the very embodiment of royal Indian hospitality, a standard-bearer not only in India but across the East. Sadly, that sense of magic seems to have faded. Since the takeover by Brookfield, a certain corporate sterility has begun to seep in what once felt bespoke and personal now feels transactional and mass-produced. The grandeur of the building remains, standing tall amidst the bustle of Delhi, but the soul of the place the ineffable Leela charm feels diminished. The staff remain passionate, but it’s hard not to notice the fatigue behind their smiles. There’s a weariness that wasn’t there before, a sense that the heart of the hotel is under strain. For the first time, we left not uplifted, but quietly saddened. The details that once made all the difference the gracious touches in the spa, the seamless elegance of an evening meal, the assurance of a refined hotel car rather than a run-of-the-mill taxi now feel overlooked. Even the once-pristine foyer, once curated with care, seems to have let go of its standards, now welcoming anything from scooters to clutter. We were informed post-booking that the Club Lounge was closed for renovation. The temporary alternative, though well-intentioned, felt rushed, over-crowded, and lacking in the signature grace we’ve come to associate with The Leela. What happened to the vision that Tamir and Captain so painstakingly instilled where every moment was curated and every guest cherished? The Leela Palace Delhi once represented true escapism a serene cocoon at the end of a hot, chaotic day in the capital. It’s heartbreaking to say this no longer feels like the priciest hotel in Delhi should. A real shame, and a painful shift for those of us who have long supported it and held it as a benchmark for whenever we travel.
