o The Cove is elegantly situated between Cove and Paradise Beaches creating the feeling of being cast away on a private, white-sand sanctuary. The luxury property was designed by architect Jeffrey Beers to bring high design together with the bluest ocean and mother of pearl hued sand. The result is an open air lobby that rises and sets with the day, an exclusive pool that sits between two private beaches, stunning and sensual rooms and suites, a collection of unparalleled dining and purposeful service delivered with Bahamian warmth.

Stayed at The Cove mid-September. We paid for a room on the Lapis floor which included access to the Lapis Lounge. The lounge was lacking in selection and quality although clean. Inside our room amenities were also lacking. No water in room upon our arrival. Two cans of water provided at night time with turn-down service. Turn-down service was minimal like closing the curtains, and replacing towels. No chocolates no extras at all. The mini refrigerator was empty so you cold not get something confidiently even if you are willing to pay for it. There is no amenities shop on the premises so if you need to get a Tylenol or something you have to walk to one of the other buildings. Staff was friendly. We stay at upscale hotels often (every 2-3 months), and the price was too high for what you get especially when you book a Lapis level room. The night before we left, we could not get our play credit because the casino service desk closed early. I was told to call a certain extention (X33) and someone would help me 24 hours. When I called that extension, a recording came on advising that they were closed until the next day. Dinner at Fish (a Jose Andres restaurant) was so-so. While our first appetizer was average, the gazpacho was so acidic I could not eat it. I was not asked if everything was okay with the food particularly as the waiter could see that the gazpacho was not consumed. Also, when my husband ordered an ice tea, he was immediately told (without asking) that their would be no free refills. The Seaglass restaurant was good and their duck sandwich worth a try. Overall, the property (The Cove) is worth a visit but don't expect a 5-star experience.

The Cove was an exceptional hotel experience. We loved the room, the lobby, the restaurants, and the staff. A must stay if you visit the Atlantis. The beds were fabulous.

It's a beautiful place and there are lots of things to do (normally). Dolphin experience was the highlight of the trip. However, most staff was less than helpful and made us feel like we were not "guests" only "visitors". Lots of offseason work was not communicated before we went, ie multiple attractions and restaurant options were closed for remodeling /maintenance. A generic email was sent before the trip saying "please excuse our work" but there was no indication that it was going to be so pervasive throughout the resort. Plus the weather sucked, with storms every day, so the general staff attitude was even more noticeable, because you couldn't just lay on the beach or by the pool and enjoy the surroundings. The other detail that is not well shared beforehand is the A La Carte pricing is a little ridiculous. Nothing is included in the room price other than access to the pools. If you wan't a decent place by the pool, other than the row of chairs at the back, you have to pay extra($$$). If you want towels, you have to search for an open hut. If you buy a tumbler for soft drinks, you can't find an open dispenser without bees and no ice that works. Overall, I'm glad to have gone and seen it, but I won't be back.
