Reviews for The Cove at Atlantis

be ready to FREEZE in Restaurants

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 15 hours ago

the AC in the buildings and the shuttles between the different hotels is NEVER ADJUSTED! it is FREEZING!!!!!!! I'm sure on a hot summer day this is appreciated, but in November when its a high of 21 degrees Celsius... NO ONE is happy! The Staff look ridiculous on the shuttle bus wearing winter hats and jackets and the women guests get on the bus to go out for a nice dinner with a dress on and absolutely FREEZE!! Start to LISTEN to your guest complaints and fix this AC issue!

Beautiful Resort, however...

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

The resort is beautiful, very clean, and lots of kind people. Our room was on the 21st floor with a fantastic view, we enjoyed it very much. As part of our stay we had access to the Lapis lounge on the 22nd floor and visited every day. We asked for a couple of wine glasses for our room as we left Lapis one afternoon. We were given them with the promise to return them the next morning, which we did as we went to breakfast. Later that day we again asked for 2 wine classes and we told we didn't return them and a debate about getting glasses again, we ultimately were given them. We certainly wouldn't pay the rate for the resort with the plan to take a glass, it was a bothersome event and experience. We had dinner at 3 restaurants in the resort, Cafe Marinique, Fish by Jose Andres and Paranza. All three restaurants were good but unremarkable. Maybe my expectations are high, however if I spend what I did for these restaurants I look to be WOW'd and was not. I would certainly stay at the resort again as the stay was overall relaxing and enjoyed by the both of us.

A+ place to stay.

I was amazed at how clean the property was. Even my room had zero flaws. I stayed at the Cove, and it was perfect. The pool was just outside the building with the beach right next to it. I was also impressed with the friendliness of the staff everywhere I went. Honestly, this was the nicest resort I've ever stayed at.

Good but a bit overpriced.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

Overall, our experience at the Cove was good. We were somewhat taken aback by the prices of the food and drinks at the restaurant, but they remained within an affordable range. The pool temperature wasn't always comfortable, but the availability of towels and the quality of staff service were excellent. In summary, I would recommend it, but only if you don't mind spending a bit more.
