Cheval Blanc Paris

We’ve been loyal to Cheval Blanc St. Barts for well over 10 years, even before it officially became Cheval Blanc, back when it was still Isle de France. It’s always been our slice of paradise, and honestly, we never thought anything could match it. That level of service, the feeling of being at home, the beauty of the place, and the truly incredible team - it’s just Magic. So, when we booked Cheval Blanc Paris, we were excited, but part of us thought, “Well, it won’t be St. Barts.” We couldn’t have been more wrong. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed like family by General Manager of the Hotel. The warmth, the attention to detail, the genuine care from every single member of the team - it’s on the same extraordinary level as St. Barts. There’s no pretension, just pure hospitality. The hotel itself is stunning - elegant, modern, and still cozy in that signature Cheval Blanc way. The rooms are beautiful, the views over the Seine are unforgettable, and the food is simply exceptional. Every meal was a memory. Two restaurants in particular really stood out. Plénitude (3 Michelin stars), which is an experience from start to finish: creative, refined, and truly unforgettable. And Le Tout-Paris (1 Michelin star), where we had breakfast each morning and several dinners (you can also enjoy lunch there). The atmosphere is bright and uplifting, with incredible food and a view that makes you pause and take it all in. Both are absolute must visits, even if you’re not staying at the hotel. The teams at both restaurants were outstanding, warm, professional, and consistently attentive. We were especially impressed by the butler team and service and entire concierge team, (with 2 Clefs d'Ors) who managed every request and constant last-minute changes by us to our itinerary with ease and genuine care. From in-room dining to the front desk, every interaction was smooth, so pleasant and thoughtful. And of course, it’s clear that the excellence starts at the top. The upper leadership team sets a tone that’s felt throughout the entire property from the way staff greet you to the way every detail is handled. We fell in love all over again this time with Paris. Cheval Blanc Paris has set a new standard for city hotels. Nothing compares to it. We stayed in many great Parisian hotels, but Cheval Blanc is a place we’ll only return to again and again. If you know and love St. Barts, don’t hesitate—Paris will surprise you in the best way. It certainly did for us.

We went for drinks at the rooftop bar and we found all the staff to be very friendly, especially Jovi from Côte d'Ivoire who was cordial and in good spirits. Amazing view from the terrace - worth waiting for the hour to see the sparkling Eiffel Tower. Pleasant, comfortable atmosphere.

I am spoiled for life after a stay at this exquisite hotel. The service and attitude of all the staff here are something that I’ve just never experienced in the US. They REALLY take care of you. Examples range from making hard to get reservations for you to requesting an item for the room and getting it in under 5 minutes. The best example was the young gentleman, Vincent, who delivered my boxed breakfast to me at the train station at 6:20 am after the driver had dropped me off because i/they had forgotten to get it before I left. You’ll read all about the elegance of the property in multiple other reviews and it’s all true. No expense was spared in the materials, construction, or decor of this building, and I have never slept better away from home than in this hotel. I hope to return in the future.

To date, we have been to 80 countries in the world (76 if abiding by the UN list). I am convinced that the Cheval Blanc Paris stands as one of the top city hotels in the world for its exceptional attention to detail and personalized service. We have been to most if not all of the Grande Dame hotels of Paris including the Ritz, Plaza Athénée, George V, Le Bristol, Le Meurice but the hotel we continue to return to is Cheval Blanc. Ever since we arrived when they first opened in September 2021, every aspect of our stay has been meticulously curated. The hotel’s design, a blend of classic Parisian elegance and modern chic, creates an unforgettable atmosphere. Guests enjoy personalized experiences like surprise gifts (my son LOVED his Peppa Pig gifts and tent set up), tailored room amenities, and exclusive privacy, ensuring a stay that feels both intimate and grand. Their pool, needless to say, is the best in the city with a Spa and excellent treatments to match (thank you Lina for the exquisite massage). Cheval Blanc Paris redefines luxury hospitality with its commitment to creating memorable, bespoke moments for each guest and we thank you for that. A luxe experience no doubt but be sure its your style. It is not ours. We found it glitzy, lots of gold, marble and questionable art, and almost no sense of place. Service is excellent. But we will return to the other palace hotels next time, which feel like Paris.
