Hotel Bel-Ami

I spent 9 nights at the Bel Ami on a recent trip to Paris with a group of photographers. It was an excellent choice. The hotel is comfortable, with good services (breakfast and room service, among others). The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location on the left bank is perfect for exploring Paris. My group had a rough itinerary of what we hoped to do, but we made changes from time to time for various reasons, including weather. On one rainy and windy day we decided we wanted to go to the Museum d’Orsay, which is nearby, rather than do the walk we had planned. The Museum website said it was sold out of tickets for the day, although we could stand in line to see if we could get in. The hotel concierge was able to get us tickets for that day, and we had a nice visit without a long wait standing in line in the rain for tickets. The concierge also helped with some restaurant recommendations and reservations. We found excellent restaurants, both French and ethnic, within an easy walk from the hotel each night. The hotel’s location is ideal for someone who likes to walk. I walked from the hotel to the Eiffel Tower in one direction and the Picasso Museum in the other and many places in between. The hotel is close to museums (for example, the d’Orsay and the Louvre); churches (for example, Saint Germaine Des Pres and Notre Dame); the Seine; various market streets; the Marais; and more. A couple of times we took a taxi to go a bit further away (the concierge was happy to arrange this for us) and walked back to the hotel. I plan to go back to the Bel Ami on my next trip to Paris. My wife is already excited about it. Highly recommended.

What a lovely stay at Hotel Bel Ami. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Saint Germain de Pres. Boutique feel with a beautiful, artsy decor lobby. I stayed in the Suite, which was super spacious and room. Bed was comfortable, great pillows and a fantastic bathroom/shower/bathtub. Breakfasts were so delicious and fresh. Had a great little workout in the gym area. Sauna was out of order but hope to use it on my next stay. Highlight of staying at the Bel Ami is the team. Amazing and flawless check in, great staff at breakfasts, concierge...literally everyone was so kind, always smiling A huge thanks to Etienne (manager) who really went above and beyond to ensure a wonderful stay. I highly recommend the Hotel Bel Ami. We celebrated a milestone anniversary on our trip to Paris, and the staff were so warm and welcoming, making the visit that more special. The location is perfect, as it is in the heart of Arr. 6/Saint-Germain-des-Prés, and within easy walking distance of the Louve, Jardin du Luxembourg, Musée d'Orsay, not to mention countless boutiques, cafes and brasseries. The hotel is tucked away on a side street so there was no bothersome noise. The breakfast was also delicious, with a full range of offerings including eggs, sausage, fruit, pastries that were all very, very good. Our room was very nice, extremely clean and comfortable, including the bed, with a nice sized bathroom. And again, I cannot stress how nice and helpful the staff was. This was a 5-star experience at a beautiful hotel that is perfectly located. Going into our trip, my expectation was that the next time we come to Paris we will stay in a different part of the City, but after our experience at Hotel Bel Ami, I am certain we will stay here again.

Location ideal, staff friendly and helpful, breakfast buffet satisfying and bar/lounge created the best artisanal cocktails. Room was modest ( due to high occupancy no upgrades available.) but well appointed. Met all my needs and I hope to return sooner rather than later!

What a beautiful and comfortable stay. Five stars. The service was truly outstanding. The hotel is located in a terrific neighborhood (plenty of restaurants & cafes) the room was well appointed, very clean, soft thread count and the key - the A/C (air conditioning) was in excellent working order. The Concierge Hafed and Eugene were extremely helpful in booking restaurant reservations for us. Igor was a knight in shiny amour. He made fabulous cocktails, we had fun conversations and he and the entire bar team were so friendly and generous. Vincent and Amber were also so welcoming and friendly. I’d easily stay at the Bel Ami, again. Merci beaucoup!
