Overall the hotel is beautifully renovated! At check-in, we were given vouchers for complementary drink at the 19th floor restaurant/bar which had lots of tables, but only has about 8 bar seats which seems like an odd design choice but anyway, we enjoyed our drink and chatting with the bartenders. Our King city view room was sooooo small overall but with very large walk in closet. Unfortunately the "city view" was just a view of the neighboring building's wall and an alley. But on the upside, our room was pretty quiet and shielded from traffic noise, also we didn't have scaffolding on our windows. currently there's scaffolding on the entire Walnut Street and Broad Street sides of the hotel. I used my Hyatt free night awards, so perhaps that's why we were assigned a less desirable room. A very nitpicky thing is that the toilet paper was horrible, for the room rates you think this hotel would have something better than gas station toilet paper. Perhaps the best thing about this hotel is location, which was perfect for exploring the Christmas markets.

Stayed 12/2024. Yes, the Bellevue is open for business! We were always greeted and asked if our needs were met. The room, restaurant, fitness center and elegant spaces were clean and bright. The adjacent fitness center (pool) is massive. Just letting you know.

The Bellevue Hotel is the signature address to stay in Philidelphia. From the moment you step into the extravagant lobby, you know you have stepped into the greatness of a gilded, golden age. The hotel was built from the beginning to be one of the world's grandest hotels. The original owner, George Boldt, is the Father of The Modern American Hotel. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted warmly, welcomed, and provided the information for an excellent stay. The suite and amenities were exceptional and the food was fantastic. I highly recommend you stay at the signature address of Philidelphia.

Hotel Bellevue in PA is an absolute gem! The craftsmanship in restoring its historic charm while seamlessly blending it with a modern, luxurious vibe is truly impressive. Every detail reflects thoughtfulness and quality. The amenities are top-notch, but the standout is the sports and fitness center—it’s nothing short of mind-blowing! It’s one of the best I’ve ever seen in any hotel. We also loved the rooftop lounge and restaurant, which offers stunning views and a chic ambiance, even though we didn’t have the chance to dine there. The hotel is still in the final stages of opening additional on-site restaurants and cafes, which we’re excited to experience during our next visit. Overall, we were completely surprised by the luxury appeal of this property. It exceeded our expectations, and we’re already looking forward to staying here again. Highly recommend!

My wife and I decided we needed to escape Thanksgiving so headed to Philly Wednesday-Saturday. Stayed at the ultra charming, historic Bellevue Hotel by Hyatt. Everything about the experience was great! Three days and four nights of luxury accommodations, first rate service and an amazing location in Central City, right near City Hall. Really can't offer enough kudos to Ben and the staff for making us feel extremely welcome. The reason for our escape is a bit sad. We lost our dog of 16 years a few months ago and this was our first Thanksgiving without him. The pain has been rough, devastating at times, but our three night stay helped us do a good bit of healing and we will definitely be back soon.
