Underwhelming hotel
Location of this hotel is great to explore Philadelphia. We were able to walk almost everywhere and it is right next to Independence Hall. Overall, we found the service and staff attitude lackluster. The only exception was the doormen/bell staff who were uniformly friendly, welcoming and helpful. We travel a lot (IHG Platinum) and this was the least impressive IHG property we have stayed at. Be aware if you are here on Sunday night, the restaurant is not open after 2pm and no room service. So you need to make other plans. I found this very disappointing for a “4 star” hotel. Room was ok, but looking a bit worn. Also as seems to be a new trend lighting isn’t great if you want to read in bed. If I return to Philly I would likely try another hotel.

Exceptional Stay!
What an exceptional stay! This hotel is beautiful with meticulous attention to detail. It's also in the perfect location for exploring Philadelphia. The best part of this stay was the amazing service provided by Ryan, the front desk agent. He treated us like royalty!

This Hotel Monaco is a beautiful and unique hotel with terrific amenities. The gym, tho not large, is updated and accessible. And the hotel bar is one of the best I've experienced. I'd absolutely return for a business trip or personal stay. Great hotel.

Beautiful hotel, unique/hip decor, complimentary happy hour in lounge and great location. Really enjoyed my stay and I’d recommend. The gym is really nice too (for a hotel). Got a great workout in! Attached restaurant was really good too…killer burgers!
