Kimpton Hotel Palomar Philadelphia effortlessly fuses the spirit of our vibrant Center City neighborhood with the allure of a refined urban retreat. As you settle in, connect and unwind in our stylish, Art Deco-inspired boutique hotel, you’ll find the ambience is sophisticated, but not without a sense of humor (this is Philly, after all). A mix of sleek textures and contemporary design details can be found alongside interesting artistic flourishes—note the three brightly colored busts of Benjamin Franklin in our living room—that act as a winking homage to the city’s storied history. As soon as you step inside our doors, you’ll discover these clever contrasts together with spacious guest rooms, exceptional amenities and personalized Kimpton service that make for an unforgettable stay.

I gave my stay a 4 star recommendation just to be clear on my entire experience as a whole. This hotel definitely checks the boxes for the price. What set this experience apart was some of the staff. One person in particular who stood out at the front desk is Simmy. She truly cared about my personal situation and was willing to try to accommodate me at every turn. As someone who travels for both personal and work related trips, people like Simmy make the difference in the experience. Side note, the restaurant staff was incredibly accommodating as well. I would 100% recommend this hotel for those on work related trips without a business center.

I had an excellent experience staying at the Kimpton Hotel Palomar this last weekend. The restaurant in the hotel provided excellent food and drinks and all of the staff in the building were kind and extremely helpful. I especially appreciate the desk staff and cleaning staff, who were invaluable in finding and returning to me some items I had accidentally left in the room after check out. I highly recommend the Hotel Palomar and definitely plan on staying here again in the future!

I love Kimpton Hotels but this one needs a bit of an overhaul. This hotel is in a great location and the staff is wonderful, BUT this is not luxury and the pictures on the website don’t quite match up to the real deal! Honestly, I’ve stayed at nicer Marriott Spring Suites!

The Mr. and I recently spent a weekend in Philadelphia. Our goal was to check out the historic sites and eat good food. While not in the 'thick of things' the hotel was certainly walkable to all the areas and things we were interested in seeing and doing. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and all the staff we interacted with was very professional and helpful. Breakfast was in Square 1682. While not free (unless you are Diamond like my Mr.) it offered a nice variety of options plus a full bar. If in Philadelphia again, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. PRO TIP: The Philly PLASH is a great, low cost way to get around the city.

My hotel stay was made absolutely perfect by Roshid the concierge at the Palomar. He took an hour in the room, setting it up and making it special so that I could celebrate my new position that I had been wanting. He is an absolute gem and I hope that the hotel understands the type of man that they have employed at their hotel. He makes me want to come back to Philadelphia just to stay at that hotel. He made my trip to Philadelphia.
