Reviews for The Rittenhouse Hotel
Great hotel, but one needs lighting control education.
It is an excellent hotel with a very friendly staff from the porter, to the receptionist, to the restaurant waiters, room service staff. We also love its location. One should always have a breakfast at LaCroix which has the best croissants, etc.. The only reason we gave 4 instead of 5 stars, is the light control system in the room. Don't let the valet leave the room until you understand how the lights work. In the middle of the night, we hade a light to come on by itself. You try to turn on the light in the bathroom, the whole room goes dark. Also not having printed menus in the room bothered us (but it may be because we are too old to deal with technology!). But after all this, we will always stay here when in Philadelphia.

Experience an Old World Luxurious Hotel in Philadelphia
The hotel is uniquely located in the heart of Philadelphia with the most plush and well maintained accommodations of any top hotel in the city. However, it is truly the staff that keeps us coming back. Rarely have we encountered this type of professionalism, friendliness, and honest desire to provide help or assistance from an hotel staff. It reminds me of what it must have been like in the old days of luxurious European hotels.

Nice long weekend
The hotel is in a great location with ease of access to many restaurants and stores which is really convenient. Room was amazing and clean but the level of Service was top notch from check in to check out. Paul with the concierge is the hidden gem, be sure you o ask his opinion on anything and get his help for reservations. He will take great care of you!

Terrific Hotel...5 stars well deserved!
The Rittenhouse Hotel was a delight...it's wonderfully located. Rittenhouse Square park is directly across the street. Lots of very good restaurants within walking distance.. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our bedroom was large and the bathroom was luxurious. We had breakfast every am at the hotel and the food was delicious. We will definitely stay here again.

Great luxury boutique
The Rittenhouse is a great luxury boutique in a great location. It is very close to the Reading Terminal Market, the Franklin Institute, the Liberty Bell and many other of Philadelphia's best sights. My trips are 90% business and the Library Bar is the perfect place after a long day of appointments to unwind and get a great meal, that is casual, yet still world class. When I entertain clients, Scarpetta and Lacroix have never let me down in impressing clients with the quality of the food, drink and service. The indoor pool is small, but it very nice and one reason I come back. I like to keep my morning swim workouts going as I travel.
