Fairmont Pittsburgh

My experience was very pleasant. Ananta, the bellman, greeted us upon arrival and was always checking on us. Alex, from the lobby, was very diligent and gave us the best sushi recommendation. Drinks at the bar were great; I would definitely go again.

The hotel is a disaster. Room service is poor quality good and ridiculously delayed. Unbelievably, there was no housekeeping for 2 days due to a staff shortage. They offered me a free bottle if wine as some type of compensation? I tried to like this place, but they made it impossible.

The Fairmont is my hotel of choice when I travel to Pittsburgh. I would like to highlight the service I received from the manager, Alex. He went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and my stay met my needs for my business trip. I highly recommend this hotel and working with the Alex and his team.

Our doorman Ananta was exceptionally with everything. Our son got married and we had a lot of stuff to bring in and out of the hotel. He was amazing. The entire staff in the lobby was also fantastic. We were very pleased. The breakfast after the wedding was our responsibility and it was very easy and nice

No sooner had my Lyft driver handed off my luggage to me than the welcoming and efficient Christopher whisked me into the lobby where I was quickly checked in. I was impressed by being offered a bottle of water by Chris before he handed me off to the front desk. I was tired after a long travel day and all this was very much appreciated. On my way out the next afternoon, Chris was pleasantly manning the door again. He is just the kind of person you want to be greeted by. This was my second time at the Fairmont. A great location, especially for the Heinz Hall concert I was attending. A short walk to Market Square which had its Christmas Market in full swing. Steps away from a bus stop if Oakland is on your agenda and a couple of blocks from the T which will take you to the North Shore: stadiums, Science Museum, Casino. The room was clean and comfortable. Throughout my stay the carpeted hallway was kept clean. A nice assortment of teas and coffee. The safe standard size, iron and ironing board, robes and slippers. I especially like the tub/shower set up if you need both. Nice big towels. The room did show some signs of wear which I photographed. I would have liked a luggage rack and a few more hangers; there were enough for one but not two. I also like an alarm clock in case my phone dies, so I missed having one. Room was quiet and had a nice view. I'm looking forward to my next stay.
