Hotel Xcaret Arte

The good: Ok so let me be up front. This hotel is very aesthetically pleasing. We enjoyed the adult only aspect of it but that’s really it. And the food was decent for all you could eat but don’t be fooled the restaurant that claims a Michelin star is far from the quality of such The bad: We checked in and had a swim up pool. Every day it was drained. We never got the chance to use it. I asked for help at the buffet finding items and was told “no” I was told our mini bar would be stocked or we could order drinks to the room free of charge. That was false. They make you pay for everything but corona and won’t let you order it to the room without ordering food. Room service always took over an hour Sheets were never changed, just beds made. Our sheets were filthy The blatant lack for safety on the attractions is astounding We had to transfer from arte to Mexico our last day and were told it would be seamless and we could still use the parks amenities. That’s false. There’s 1 lobby to lobby shuttle a day in the middle of the day so your whole day is shot waiting for that. I didn’t have air conditioning in my room the entire time and it was miserable. All our clothes reeked of mildew from the humidity and inability to dry out in the room Tipping is not mandatory but they make you feel obligated to do so for poor service. They try to make it so you can’t leave without selling you packages and deals to come back. They lost our luggage multiple times. Everytime we left the room our things had been gone through and moved. The room phones never worked

Its our 5th time at this resort. Everyone is amazing. We always have excellent service from Tomas Farias, Ivan, Teresa and freddy and everyone at the pool. Beautiful resort. And we will be coming back in june 2025. See you all soon my friends!!

The whole experience is incredible. Food, Bars, Tours…Everything was outstanding. If you want to be pampered and have an all inclusive vacation experience, Xcarate is the way to go. The memories we made will last a lifetime. Our only regret is that we did have enough time to experience all of the parks.

Amazing experience! Everyone who worked there was amazing at their job. Sheila and Gabriel were particularly amazing. They were always keeping up with and watching out for any needs. Everyone was always smiling and so friendly and helpful.

Staff Took advantage of me because of my race. Framed me for something I did not do. I will never return. Charged an additional 2,000$ dollars and said if I did not pay them they will get the police involved. So I was forced to pay them the sum in return for my freedom
