ATELIER Playa Mujeres

Beautiful resort & outstanding service! We stayed for 6 nights in a Inspira swim-out suite. Rosort is large with 13 restaurants, 2 coffee shops & 12 bars Our swim-out was private & the water temperature was perfect. Dinners were top notch food & great service, of the inclusives we have stayed it this has been the best dinners. We eat at Kopai, Cala Dr Luna, Los Abrazos, El Suspiro and Friday night Mercado 19 had a Mexican party with a large buffet. Mercado 19 had a wonderful breakfast buffet. Bar De La Calle had unique evening drinks. Our lunches were just okay. Room service was quick & food was good. Staff was friendly & everywhere. After the rain they were clearing the walkways. Rooms were clean, maintained twice a day & great mini bar. We spent our pool time at the Inspira lower pool. Jolio & Rafael were friendly & attentive. Rafael brought fruit kabobs, popsicles, chocolates around to the guests (fun surprise). Main pool was busy with activities & people. Water was great temp. Beach was beautiful & maintained. With Inspira we had butlers, Pingting & Brandon. They set up our dinner & spa reservations. Each morning we got message with resort activities. They were easy to get a hold of. We didn't require much but they could definitely have been utilized more if we needed. Minor complaint: As beautiful as the resort was the furniture looked nice but not always comfortable. Bigger complaint: Check in took WAY too long. And they tried to sell us membership to the resort. We could sit through a selling session and get a free massage, not for us and very annoying that this was done right when walk in & want you to meet the first morning. How were we even expected to know the resort the first morning? Overall a great experience & a resort I would recommend. We would definitely return!

We are in Inspira members for almost 4 years now. We have never regretted this investment. My husband and I brought our brothers and their wives just spent a week in the villa and we had the most incredible time! There is not one thing that we could note for improvement. The drinks were outstanding Julio at the Inspira pool did a great job never letting us run dry. Rafael gave us fresh fruit and popsicles daily by the pool and our favorite bartender Efraine was more than anwas more than accommodating!! One of the greatest benefits of our membership is the access to anOne of the greatest benefits of our membership is the access to a concierge. Our concierge’s Jorge and Armando were beyond great. Jorge went above and beyond during the day no matter how many changes we made in our itinerary. He also gave us insight into future vacations to get the more exposure to the local culture to complement our stays a couple times a year. Jorge and Armando checked in with us when they came and before they went home to make sure we had everything we needed. We hope to be back in October and again in January with family. We are blessed to have discovered the Atelier and it’s amazing employees.

Our trip was for celebrating multiple 40th birthdays, an anniversary, and an actual birthday during our one week stay. Demarys on the pool staff is a national treasure! She is the best and made our pool days absolute perfection. Shout out to Viktor and Oscar at El Suspiro for great service.

I just returned from my 2nd trip to the Atelier resort. It’s an incredible experience. Between this visit and the one 3 years ago, they’ve definitely made improvements. The experience of the staff and fine tuning of their processes created a better guest experience. We loved Cilento (lunches and dinner) and Kopai for dinner. We had drinks and ate in almost every venue - and they were all good with great service. At Cilento, Luis (Carbajal?) was our lunch server and he was outstanding. (Lasagna is delicious here). He brought us the best coffee drinks we had while staying at the resort, gave us great recommendations and was extra attentive and fun. Poolside, our favorite server was Alberto. He’s very friendly, hardworking and genuine. He got to know all 10 people in our group and made the days spent by the pool even more fun (than we had on his day off). He was great at anticipating our needs and would run in his hustle to grab someone a straw or whatever they needed. The staff at the resort helped us celebrate birthdays and an anniversary. The room service was good. We didn’t see the staff that refreshed our room, but they did a great job as well. It’s nice to have nespresso machines, snacks and drinks in your room. There’s robes, slippers, bug spray, mouth wash, and a beach bag in addition to normal hotel things like soap and towels.

What do you look for in a resort? - An outstanding beach? CHECK! Warm Caribbean waters, clean powdery sand with virtually no rocks, ample free beachfront beds, nil plastic waste washing up, virtually no weeds, and plenty of sunshine. - Fine dining? CHECK! Over a dozen different and varied restaurants… not to mention additional excellent coffee shops and lively bars dotted strategically all over the resort - Excellent service? CHECK! I have not had better, more attentive service, all round, from booking staff and butlers, to waiters and even cleaners and maintenance staff - everyone was very friendly, helpful and attentive, always seeking to make our experience the best - Activities? CHECK! Great selection of activities with enthusiastic, motivated staff. Don’t miss the Karaoke night – my absolute favorite! - Spacious rooms? CHECK! Whether you take the normal rooms, or the swim out suites, or splash out for an exquisite duplex roof-top suite with it’s own oh-so-warm hot-tub overlooking the golf course and the Caribbean sea. Atelier Playa Mujeres is the best all-inclusive resort I have been to (speaking as one who has been to many, in many different parts of the word)… With such fantastic service, it is difficult to pick out those that deserve a special mention, but I would be remiss if I did not give a specific shout-out to Eduardo, managing the beachfront beds, Angel at the Los Abrazos steakhouse, and Manuel at Kopai, the Japanese restaurant. You were all just fabulous! With so much to see and visit around the world, I am usually reluctant to go back to the same place again. Atelier Playa Mujeres, I would visit, over and over again without hesitation. Thank you for the fantastic experience!
