Stepping into Golden Well Hotel is like traveling back in time. Tucked between the Castle and Ledeburg Gardens in Prague, this 16th-century Renaissance building once belonged to Emperor Rudolf II and later to the famed astronomer Tycho de Brahe. The 20 bedrooms and suites and adorned with masterful reproductions of centuries old pieces recreated by the furniture designers of Richelieu. On a terrace beneath the Castle gardens, you can savor international cuisine with French influences at Restaurant U Zlaté Studne.

We cannot recommend the hotel highly enough! It's picturesque setting, great rooms and friendly staff. Dinner on the Terrace was excellent and the views over Prague breathtaking! It's one of the loveliest boutique hotels we have stayed in. We would love to return.

Unique location, great staff, extraordinary service, fanatstic food. Breakfast was very fine, support on the town and service inside Golden Well is best in town, a place to stay below Hradschin on the Kleinseite with a lot of sights and next to Charles-Bridge.

Absolutely fabulous Hotel in the old town. Every detail of the furniture and the decoration transports you back in time, in a very relaxed way. The staff is incredibly welcoming and polite. You should visit if only to enjoy breakfast with the view of the old town. Recommend for both business and tourism.

We stayed here for a long weekend and cannot fault this hotel at all. From the warm welcome with a glass of Prosecco, it being super clean and to the excellent service at breakfast, we could not fault this hotel. It may be small but that’s why we booked it, but hotel huge in every other way! The selection of food at breakfast was great as with the treat with turndown, they even offer free drinks and snacks for a couple of hours in the afternoon although we did not try this but it’s these little things that make a huge difference. We ate in the hotel restaurant one night and the food was Michelin star standard so definitely try that. Location great, 5 min walk a lovely square with restaurants and about a 10-15 min walk to the old town. One tip is to use the hotel pick up from the airport, we never and it was a bit chaotic trying to get an uber code from machine before you can get a taxi. We used their car to take us back to airport and the driver was very polite and friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who likes quality and quiet!

A fabulous hotel, a reception of guests as not at J.W. Mariott I did not have, staff particularly kind, everything impeccable!! Everything is clean everywhere, there are spaces that simulate a living room where something can be tasted, office space for needs, breakfast restaurant with a very beautiful view!

Hotel U Zlate Studne was fabulous! The staff was gracious and attentive. Our Grande Deluxe guest room included every amenity as described. The food was excellent! The property itself is tucked away in a residential area. It is within a few blocks of public transportation, making this a great home base for sightseeing and shopping. Five-Star Quality!

HarperWe spent 3 nights at this delightful hotel, and everything about the stay surpassed our expectations. The hotel has everything you could ask for in a luxury property, at very moderate prices. The location was ideal, within easy walking distance of most attractions, but a couple of short blocks removed from the tourist thouroughfares. The building, which is centuries old, is full of character. It has been tastefully renovated, with respect for the historic features of the architecture and decor. In closing, I hope to return to Prague sometime to see it in spring or summer. U Zlate Studne will definitely be my first choice.
