Hotel NH Collection Prague Carlo IV

One problem you have when reviewing 5* accommodation is that your expectation is incredibly high. This hotel was good, which in itself is positive, it just didn’t “wow” me or blow me away. The breakfast buffet was very very good with exceptional choice. The spa area was also very impressive. We found the rooms to be slightly dated with some chipped tiles and the waterfall shower didn’t work in the bathroom. Like I say, in many ways a 5* property sets you up to be slightly more critical and the hotel was good - but I’ve been to much better and don’t feel like I’ll miss out if I was to return to Prague and stay somewhere else. Slight niggle was also that the receptionist charged the city/room tax to the wrong credit card - not a major issue as this was only 300 Kč but again you’re likely to remember these sorts of things when staying at a 5* property.

Firstly, the sense of welcoming was simply amazing. The staff made us feel as if I was at home. Nothing was a problem for them. The breakfast facility, spa and pool facilities were exceptional. The team at the front desk were professional and lead by wonderful front office managers. Also, we were warmly welcomed by the general manager Martin. We could not fault the Property and would highly recommend it to any future adventure or holiday maker.

Very late booking for the same night due to a cancelled flight. Despite having to check guests in at around 1am the staff were so kind and efficient providing a toothbrush/paste as the airport refused to return our luggage. It had been a long difficult day and we had a lovely room to fall into bed in. It was a beautiful breakfast and we felt very ery well looked after. Thank you

Invited to stay with friends. Beautifully designed and luxurious hotel with elegant bedrooms well supplied. As one would expect. Wonderful lobby area, most impressive and room corridors quiet and smart. Deliciously opulent, alluring and sensuously private pool and sauna area with plenty of private and peaceful nooks. Food not fabulous but perfectly acceptable and service everywhere was from welcoming and friendly staff. We will return when we next visit Prague.

Very nice location in walking distance from the city center. Excellent spa facilities. Rooms could be much better (due to 5 star hotel). Our room was not fully equiped with amenities. Luckily it was warm on cold December nights in Prague. Our meal at the restaurant was not the best, while they had very small variety of wines and beer. Didnt enjoy our dinner. The hotel management's decision to hire young staff from Ukraine at a difficult war time for them is very positive.
