The Westin Puntacana Resort & Club

SPA is amazing! I had one of the best massages in the world with therapist Roxane and was so warmly welcomed by Yubataniz (receptionist)! Additionally it is super clean and smells heavenly Paradise within paradise of The Westin Punta Cana❤️

First of all the location is the best, after leaving the airport you reach the hotel in 10 minutes. By van you can reach places like the small shopping Punta Cana Village, with restaurants, local drugstore and shops or the Blue Mall Punta Cana where you can find a good supermarket and international shops and a food court. Restaurants are very good , we tried BAO, BRASSA, and ARENA where we had an amazing surprise on August 18 when the staff offered us a dessert singing "happy birthday" to the birthday person on the table. My friend Alex and I are speechless to say compliments for the staff and we can not remember all the names but special thanks to Franklin attendant on the hotel entrance, Andy and Juan Maya in the front desk, Rosa and Luis assisting us during the breakfast , Gaspar preparing delicious omelets and Francisco in the swimming pool-beach area . During that week the hotel was under maintenance so in some areas we could see painters working, some mess in corridors and ceiling lights removed but it was for a short period of time, totally comprehensible. Some areas that must have special attention are the bikes that can be used by the hotel guests with a poor maintenance, flat tires, no breaks and after spending some time trying to choose the best one we still had some issues on the ride to Tortuga Bay. The Gym is great with some brand new treadmills and gym bikes but there is a lack of gym weights and strength training equipment. The terrace in front the gym window could have a better use in my opinion. For me looks strange not having a door between the bathroom and the room because the only door in this area is a glass door isolating the shower/toilet.

First time in Punta Cana but it won’t be my last. I stayed for 6 days the end of August and everything about this resort is top notch. All of the staff we worked with were very nice and went out of their way to make sure we were well taken care of. Especially Alberto at the pool bar and restaurant! He is a gem and a first class bartender. Every day he met us with a smile and an offer to get whatever we wanted. The pool itself was fantastic; large enough you never felt crowded. There was enough chairs with able shade for all. The music was a bit loud with the speakers close to the chairs but not enough to run you off. The beach was great and the water was stunning. The restaurants on property were quite good if not a bit pricey. There were several other options at different properties on the resort that were delicious and there was a complimentary shuttle to get you there and back. You won’t be sorry with a stay there in fact you will be very happy!

Great service! Hotel has a very nice bar and restaurant. Everything was clean and well maintained. The pool is very nice and you are steps from a very wide white sand beach. Truly a service oriented hotel with a top notch concierge and service staff. We were very impressed.

My husband and a couple of our friends stopped at Arena Beach Club at The Westin Hotel in Punta Cana. It was a really hot day and we wanted some drinks to cool off. Leticia came to the rescue! She was very attentive and pleasant. She offered suggestions to the menu since we had two people in our party that have special dietary needs (one is a pescatarian and another is a vegan). Leticia went above and beyond to provide the best service possible and with a beautiful smile. We highly recommend this restaurant and Leticia as a server.
