Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve Puerto Rico

We had an amazing dining experience at Nori thanks to Thais Pietri, who took excellent care of us. The portions were generous, and the atmosphere was top-notch. We had such a nice time that we went back the next night, where Tony also provided excellent service. Both nights were memorable, but Thais truly made our first visit stand out with her exceptional hospitality. Highly recommend Nori for its outstanding food, ambiance, and incredible staff!

Absolutely beautiful resort! Staff service is top teir! Will definitely come back! The staff was very accommodating. The 24 hour shuttle service is very helpful and validate how this resort really care for their guests needs. The daily courtesy calls to ensure we were enjoying out stay was amazing. Our room was always clean!

It’s really a 2.75. I would not rate it poor, but not average either. Pros: - beautiful beach - lots of options for seating - staff is friendly and English speaking - staff tries to accommodate guests - refrigerator in room - microwave available - mosquito repellent wipes provided Cons: - room amenities are like a Holiday Inn (poor quality) - paper cups; BAD coffee - cost of food/drinks (30% tax/gratuity added) - quality of food is very poor - food options (mostly overpriced American food- few Puerto Rican options) - very isolated; requires a car to explore - conferences held at the resort overpower the place The grounds are beautiful, but get old after a couple of days. Wish I planned to rent a car because it’s very expensive to Uber around. I would definitely not stay here again due to the high price of rooms, for what you get. We stayed in San Juan for a few days before at a much less expensive hotel right in the beach and would definitely go back there.

Beautiful relaxing resort with comfortable rooms and a great pool and beach. Perfect for relaxing. It’s a distance from San Juan and the airport so you need to rely on the on-site food however food and restaurants are inaccessible and overpriced so you’ll need a plan for meals. Example, one option for breakfast is full buffet approx $40 pp. Lunch is the coffee shop, pool or room service, maybe tappas in the lobby bar, dinner at the sports bar is burgers and has a limited menu. Very small higher end restaurants for dinner but tough to get in. One restaurant called Nectar has a nasty sign on the door to greet diners. The entire food game is not up to Hyatt standards.

Very clean and beautiful resort. Beach and pools are great! Service and care are perfect. Only be prepared for a bit too expensive food and cocktails. Beer and Wine are just right. Would improve on concierge service on tour bookings. Overall excellent stay, would recommend.
