The service was fantastic. Take advantage of access to their rooftop bar, they have a great selection of wines and small bites. The toiletries provided smelled so nice as well, which was a nice plus. The breakfast service variety was nice as well, the attendant was very welcoming and kind.

What a wonderful experience, we were met with a friendly team of staff that were helpful throughout. We had a lovely room, clean and comfortable with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was a buffet style set up and plenty of choice, again the staff were lovely and really helpful. We were just a stone throw away from the Spanish steps and lots of shops and restaurants! Travelling about is easy from this location too! Central to most tourist attractions Would definitely recommend

Went to Rome in November for my 60th with my wife. Really enjoyed this hotel we stayed in the hotel building rather than one of the nearby apartments. There is a lot of charm with a touch of class. The staff were very helpful throughout and stepped in to sort out a short notice airport transfer. Room was very spacious and beautifully decorated. Best thing is the location, we could walk everywhere c3km across the river to the Vatican and St Peters Sq and a shorter distance to the Forum and Colosseum, Trevi Fountain / Pantheon just a stroll and of course Spanish Steps right outside. The area around the hotel is vibrant, loads of high end luxury shops but also all the high street brands, cafe's and restaurants on every corner, try Ginger - Spagna via Del cross. We did not find eating out expensive and certainly lots of options for every budget. Throughout our 4 day stay we had great food, wine and even in November was warm enough (with a cosy jumper on) to sit outside and watch the world pass by. We opted for the breakfast which is served on the top floor where the decor and layout is a bit different! adding more of a pensione vibe, choice was very good with hot and cold options and gluten free, in fact everywhere we eat had an extensive gluten free choice it just seemed to be standard. In summary, great hotel touch of class lots of charm, small but personal, the best location for shopping, site seeing or just exploring, felt very safe throughout, would recommend the Inn at the Spanish Steps best place to rock your own Emily in Rome mini adventure.

The location is great. As the name suggests next to Spanish Steps. However, there were quite a few niggles and some really odd moments. So, niggles first. If you have disabilities or can’t climb stairs the main hotel block could be a real issue. The roof top bar and breakfast room is only accessed via a flight of very steep steps (the lift only goes to the floor below). The roof terrace itself is lovely but why no heaters - heaters would have made the space much more usable in November when the weather was excellent but the evenings and morning very chilly. The breakfast was served in the lounge area on the top floor but the room is rather cramped and the chairs and tables aren’t really suited for meals …the chairs are loungers. On the final day (we were based in a converted apartment block about 150 metres from the main hotel) the breakfast was served in the lift lobby. Completely bizarre. Our table was literally next to the lift on a hotel corridor!!! It was so bizarre we laughed out loud. We couldn’t get the air-con to work in our room (minor point) There was nowhere to hang up our bath sheets to get them dry - no radiators and no towel rail (minor point) Now the good points: The staff were lovely and helpful and spoke excellent English - they were great. The room we were in (150metres away from the main hotel) was very modern, spacious, and very comfortable (despite a couple of niggles) The food spread for breakfast was very good and the chef made fresh fried eggs for breakfast. All in all a good hotel but needs some love and refinements and food goodness sake get some heaters for the terrace. Think carefully if you are staying in the main block and have mobility challenges. I’d say overall we were pleased.

We paid for a superior room but room was very small and bathroom was mouldy /grimy - didn’t feel clean. Also found the beds and pillows uncomfortable. The location is ok- nice area and felt safe in heart of the shops/spanish steps. Would definitely re visit Rome but wouldn’t recommend hotel.
