Where does royalty stay when the palace is being redecorated? Queen Margherita of Savoy chose the Regina Hotel Baglioni on the Via Veneto in Rome. This elegant Art Nouveau style hotel features period accents such as marble columns and Oriental carpets, while guest rooms and suites are truly palatial in their rich appointments and antique furnishings. Fine Mediterranean and international cuisine in a formal setting define the memorable dining experience offered at Le Grazi.

Wow wow wow we were first booked at a the Intercontinental Hotel as my husband has been a member for more than 30 years traveling throughout Europe and Latin America for business. However we were only booked for 3 nights and then had to move. So lucky to have moved to this hotel from the moment we arrived by foot only one block away we immediately noticed the difference in class and service. The doorman and porters came rushing to our side to take our luggage just a few steps from the entrance not knowing if we were guests. Barbara greeted us with the most beautiful smile and welcoming. Although our room was not ready we were ushered personally by Barbara to have lunch. Not had 20 minutes passed and Barbara came to notify us our room was ready. Again she personally escorted us to a beautiful junior luxurious suite. That evening Francesco the concierge took full initiative to speak about the restaurants in the area. He was so charming and we had a 30 minute chat with to discuss our plans while in Rome. There was not one disappointment in our stay. We have stayed in the finest hotel in Europe and now on Our way to Florence to stay at the Four Seasons. It will be hard for the Four Seasons to match our stay at the Baglioni. We will to Rome four days later and almost sorry we have to leave the hotel. If you are planning to go to Rome think of no where else but this hotel, you will not be disappointed.

Our first time to Italy could not have gone better...as we feel our stay at the Baglioni was truly the best of the best. From the fully appointed rooms, to the friendly greetings and smiles from the team, to the solo harpist serenading you at breakfast, this was the most comfortable and pleasant experience. The hotel is centrally located, so we took taxis to our tours, but were able to take in all the sights and sightseeing of Rome on our walks back to the hotel, making memorable discoveries along the way...literally stumbling upon the Trevi Fountain. The team was attentive, professional, and most helpful (especially when I thought I had lost my password). The Brunello Restaurant was super accommodating, and the concierge was extremely knowledgeable and patient. The entire experience was beyond our exception and set the tone for the rest of our travels in Italy.

Beautiful hotel with amazing staff, if you’re visiting Rome and not on a tight budget then I would definitely recommend staying here, easy access to all the sights and all within walking distance. If you prefer your accommodation a little quieter then it’s a good spot as other hotels located next to attractions can be quite busy throughout the day whereas at the Baglioni we almost forgot we were in a large European city as it seemed to be in a more relaxed area and away from the crowds.

We have just returned from a wonderful four night family stay at the Baglioni Regina in Rome. From the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed and the staff made us feel that nothing was too much trouble. The bedrooms were lovely. Breakfast was delicious. Two of us had wonderful massages in the spa. We were staying in Rome as my son and I were taking part in the Rome marathon. The staff were all so polite and charming and didn’t bat an eyelid when we stumbled into the hotel after the race, looking extremely dishevelled! If I had to find anything that could be improved it is that the bedrooms were a little on the warm side for our liking - the aircon wasn’t on because it seemed that the heating/aircon system was on a winter setting, and also one of the rooms was a little noisy because the windows didn’t have good sound insulation - (strangely this didn’t seem to be a problem in the other two rooms). However, everything else made up for it. I mustn’t forget to mention the concierge staff who were wonderful - they gave us lots of great recommendations. We felt very well looked after and had a very special and memorable stay!

Stayed at the Baglioni Regina in Rome for a 1 week business trip. Every aspect of the experience was outstanding. From the moment I arrived until the time I departed every member of the staff was incredibly helpful. The hotel is gorgeous, the room was beautiful and spacious, and the breakfast is served in 2 wonderful rooms. Internet connection in the room and throughout the common areas was perfect for all business needs. Dinner at the Brunello lounge and restaurant was exquisite with service that struck the perfect balance between being available and yet not bothering the diner needlessly. I was solo on a business trip and yet never felt awkward sitting alone at any meals. I cannot impress how friendly the staff was at all times.
