Baglioni Hotel Regina

When staying i Rome and want a great hotel - this is it. Warm, friendly, great acumination's. The hotel restaurant is top notch, with a great Matei'd and staff. The breakfast cannot be beat with a great buffet and menu. The waitstaff at the breakfast was extremely attentitive and assure that beverages were always filled. the front desk was extremily professional and happy to assit in any form. The location and proximity to various resturants, venus and torist locations make this a place to stay. Old world charm with a professional staff and great food - make this a destination!

It was fancy, good breakfast, good location for foot touring.. thats about it for me. Nothing at the front desk to inform you of the area or tourist attractions. Toilet had no water going to it. Had to get our own toilet paper, room fridge didn't work. They got water going to toilet, but then it continues to run. Asked about the fridge, nothing got done with it. We left this hotel to go to another town, and returned to this hotel a week later, as we had it booked again.. got the identical room.. Still same issues.. On last day the fridge was working. Lots of hotels in the area, perhaps we were a fluke, but for the $$ it is to stay here, might expect a bit more.

This was my third trip to the Baglioni Regina, Roma, and second in 2024. For me the hotel is perfectly, and discreetly, situated on the Via Veneto allowing easy walking to almost all of the famous sites and the Termini. It was very nice to be remembered by some of the staff although this is not something I particularly crave. The entrance hall is spectacular with the reception situated discreetly to one side. The breakfast room is wonderful with a fantastic selection to cater for all tastes. At the weekend a harpist plays during breakfast. The dining/bar area is of a design that would probably not go out of fashion but, for me, it could do with a rethink in terms of making the decor lighter in colour. That said, it is still very popular. The food served in the dining room is absolutely wonderful, although a narrow but fulfilling selection. The head barman makes a cracking Old Fashioned cocktail and there is a good selection of my favourite single malt scotch whiskies behind the bar. Tea and coffee when served in the bar come with a selection of small but very edible biscuits. The staff are simply wonderful and nothing, it seems, is too much trouble. The rooms are exceptionally clean, serviced twice a day, with complimentary water left on the table. There is a well stocked mini-bar. Dressing gowns and slippers are provided. The beds are comfortable and I slept very well. There is a TV provided but why one would need one in Rome when there are plenty of activities to enjoy at night, for example, Gregory's Jazz Bar, is a mystery. The Baglioni Regina is a five star hotel and provides the service one would expect from such a hotel. The concierge is very helpful. I like the Regina because it is not imposing like the famous one directly opposite, or others close by. It is easy to walk by without registering it. I highly recommend it and I will be visiting again in the near future. I was very fortunate to have a top floor room with a balcony, from which I could easily see many of the famous monuments and buildings. My thanks to Francesca, Olga, Giovanni, Massimo, Anna and all the staff who made my stay so wonderful.

I’ve stayed in Baglioni hotels before, this was my first stay at Baglioni in Rome. The hotel had a familiarity about it that was assuring. All the staff were friendly, polite and interested in you as a guest. Almost felt part of the family! The room was very clean, well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. It’s a short walk to the centre of Rome but just far enough out of the busy centre. I will certainly book this hotel for my next trip to Rome. You won’t be disappointed. The harp music during breakfast was delightful, not sure this is a permanent feature, but very much enjoyed! Thank you to all the staff who made the stay even more relaxing.
