Thompson San Antonio Riverwalk

Aziz was the best. Very polite, professional and made us feel welcome and special. The car ride was safe and he shared his personal story and city happenings. Great person to converse with and know. The whole valet crew was good. They were all eager.

Great staff! Ms. Marlene J in the Security department very helpful upon arrival. Always clean rooms and can tell housekeeping on top of it. Front desk folks super nice and welcoming. This is how the hospitality business used to be and sadly has been lacking in many locales.

This Hotel is our favorite Hotel in San Antonio after this past weekend. It just took the place of the Hotel Emma. We have been traveling to San Antonio for the past 49 years every year. We have stayed at every 4 and 5 star hotel in San Antonio. We just spent last weekend at the Thompson for or 49th Anniversary. I have to say the hotel is very clean, elegant, very upscale and in an excellent location. The staff is amazing. They took care of every thing we needed or ask for. The General Manager Mr. Eugene Mardell took the time to introduce himself and I really believe his professionalism has transferred over to his staff. This is a very well run hotel. Every staff member loves their job. And that is a testament to the Hotel Leadership. We have stayed at some really upscale Hyatt properties over the years and this is at the top of the list. We will be back very soon. And we will always stay at the Thompson moving forward. Thank you Thompson Hotel for making our weekend very special.

Hands down the best staff and service . Maddie and Jonathan in the land race bar were amazing and knowledgeable even going as far as fresh squeezing juice for a beverage . Diego, Rachel, Richie in the bar upstairs took such great care of us at the pool too!

Having visited family in San Antonio, we were invited into the Thompson at Riverwalk for the afternoon, I have to say that the reception we received was outstanding, from the valet parking, through to reception, arrival at the rooftop pool bar and then to the 20th floor for some amazing photos of San Antonio. I didn't get everybody's name but Diego from the pool bar I did get, the service we received was awesome, the professionalism and courtesy was off the chart, the facilities were fantastic, at a time when the hotel was hosting major basketball stars for the Final Four event they treated us with respect, on the whole it was a very enjoyable experience, as I say from the General Manager Eugene Mardell right the way down to the valet parking you should consider yourselves as outstanding representative's of this amazing hotel, a real credit to the services you provide, on behalf of my cousin Keeley, my wife Sarah and myself we cannot thank you enough for this amazing experience, mere words cannot do justice, people will have to experience this for themselves.....To sum up in one word is not enough but OUTSTANDING is the only word close to it. Thank you again Eugene and your team a real credit, professionalism at its best
