Nayara Alto Atacama

This hotel is definitely the best value for money one can get. It's a LHW with top quality service! Great food, beverage, tours, facilities - the full experience program is worth paying for.

This resort has lovely public areas, with a casual design reflecting the local adobe style, the dry environment softened by the planting of quince and pomegranate trees. We really enjoyed using the small swimming pools - there are several, so that guests usually spread themselves out, resulting in excellent privacy. However, the resort is let down by very poor conditions in some guest rooms, with poor-quality furnishings. In ours, the door of the minibar fell right off its hinges while we were being shown the room on check-in! An extensive refurbishment here would really elevate the standard of the resort. Service from all staff is warm and professional at all times, all-inclusive meals are mostly excellent and the range and quality of excursions is excellent, with some superb, experienced guides. We also appreciated the frequent/on-demand shuttle service into the touristy though charming San Pedro de Atacama.

Beautiful views from room patio. Staff was attentive and willing to help when able. The rooms are very dated. They are dark and need upgrading. Lots of wasted space that could be utilized better. This is not a 5 star property but the potential is there. The location is perfect and not in the town. Very quiet. The excursions that we took were good. One was a group tour and one was private. The group tour was well managed on time and enjoyable. Guide was very good. The private tour was excellent. Daniel was our guide and we enjoyed our day with him very much. We did the sunset tour in a group and did the salt flats and cejar lagoons in a private tour. I would recommend both. Meals were good. We loved the BBQ night at the pool. The staff executed the dinner and service excellently. We definitely appreciate how smooth it went and the amount of work it took to get everything moved outdoors for the dinner. Overall, we are glad we stayed here but we were definitely disappointed. There is much room for improvement with the hotel. It could be outstanding with proper upgrades.

Our weeklong honeymoon at the Nayara Alto Atacama was a first-class experience and an amazing combination of active excursions exploring the surrounding landscapes, coupled with restful moments enjoying the property. We chose to visit the Nayara Alto Atacama for the stargazing opportunities (which did not disappoint), but ended up being equally blown away by the amazing hospitality and service shown by every staff member at each meal, guided excursion, or casual interaction on the property. Thank you Nayara staff for such a wonderful trip!

The place was amazing from rooms to food to excursions. The facility was extremely well kept and clean. Food was spectacular as was the setting, the staff and the excursions. Couldn't have had a better time in the desert!
