Hodelpa Nicolas de Ovando

Stunning colonial property really close to the main to bars and restaurants. All of the staff was lovely since the moment we arrived, everyone was incredible friendly and welcoming with us, specially Yerry from room service who make sure we got everything we need!

Excellent breakfast in Hodelpa Nicolas de Ovando Restaurant 1502!!! Omelletes, coffee, mimosas and buffet delicious. Great ambience, full of relaxation. Reinaldo and Kavliz were awesome host and made us feel like at home. Whenever around give it a try!!!

Hotel is beautiful, staff are extremely friendly and service is great. Location is excellent too. We struggled to arrive via car as there were some road closures. After 1 hour of driving Santa Domingo traffic, we had to park, leave the car and walk to the hotel. Upon arrival we were greeted by Felix. He immediately relieved all of our stress with his friendly demeanour (the free mimosa helped!). He then walked with us to our car and guided us through the road closures to the hotel parking facility. This was a life saver. Felix was engaging and personable, even recommending restaurants for the evening. He unloaded our bags, made sure check in was swift and painless and even helped us to our room. He is a credit to this hotel and we can’t thank him enough!

We were looking for a hotel in the Zona Colonial for a large group of 11 people for a work trip and are extremely happy to have chosen Hodelpa Nicolas de Ovando. The location cannot be beaten - close to the Malecon, in the middle of the old town, and easy to reach from the airport and the new town. Check-in was easy, all previously requested accommodations for our group were as promised. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. But what makes this hotel great is the staff. To us, one person truly stood out: Felix. From day one on he was always there when we needed something and it seemed as if he anticipated what we needed before even we knew it. As a large group with a lot of equipment and luggage, we had to coordinate deliveries of food and materials, with frequent trips from the lobby to the rooms and parking for several cars. Without even having to ask, Felix was there to help and made sure that everything always ended up where it was needed. He knew our names from day 1 and it almost was as if he was part of our team. Felix, thank you for making our trip easy and for your big part in making this trip a success!

Excellent service by grismeidy. Best hotel , would recommend to all, great location to downtown cuidad , would highly recommend to all to stay here,food is excellent. Service is excellent as well all staff, would recommend to all my family and friends to stay here
