Great hotel. Absolutely top level. Breakfast is outstanding and it is an absolute must. The Fisherman Beach is fish options out of this world and prices are very affordable. Staff will never left you down. They handle all requests and they are very helpful. The fitness is ok, but avoid peaks. The ocean view suits are a great option. The extra money is well spend.

We had a wonderful stay at Andaz Bali! The location is perfect—right by the beach and close to everything you need in Sanur. The hotel itself is spacious and beautifully designed, blending modern comfort with Balinese charm. What really stood out for us was the kids club—it was absolutely amazing and kept our children entertained and happy throughout the stay. Highly recommend for families looking for a relaxing yet fun vacation in Bali!

What an experience. We went with our two small children and from the moment I booked till the moment we left we had a phenomenal experience. The attention to detail was outstanding. We received on arrival a welcome arrangement and a lovely cake for my husband‘s birthday. The staff went above and beyond at every point! when I lost my phone they were able to get it back for me. The attention to detail at this resort was amazing! We can’t wait to come back!

We have just visited the hotel for seven nights as a family of four, with children aged 7 and 11. The hotel has a beautiful and traditional Balinese feel, created in part by the “village” concept and in part by the lush green foliage and scents that surround you. The walkways are a delight, with beautiful flowers, trees, ponds etc at every turn. You cannot help but feel relaxed in these gardens, which are tended to daily by the garden team, and are immaculate. We stayed in a one bedroom suite, which was beautifully appointed, with every amenity could think of. The children had a bed each, one was a pull out and the other was a day bed, both perfect. We had a large balcony with an additional day bed and table, overlooking the serene quiet pool, a wonderful addition to the hotel. Breakfast is a la carte, but you can order as much as you would like- the portions are fairly small so don’t be shy! The quality of the breakfast was second to none, and as is typical of the hotel, beautifully presented. We also dine in the Fisherman’s club, and enjoyed some of the best fresh fish and shellfish that we’ve had on this trip. The hotel is conveniently situated along a boardwalk so you can easily access the restaurants, bars, cafes and shops in Sanur. We had a couple of great and inexpensive meals outside of the hotel, and the best gelato at Massimo’s. Our children thoroughly enjoyed the kids club, where there were lots of activities planned throughout the day to keep them occupied and out of the midday sun. Our children enjoyed daily feeding of the Koi fish and lots of arts and crafts. Our only complaint was that they were entitled to just 2 complimentary hours per day, which is unusual for a 5* hotel, though we have no experience of other hotels in Bali to know whether or not this is the norm. The main pool is large enough that it never felt overcrowded. Bear in mind that there are no lifeguards on duty at any of the pools in this hotel. There were plenty of children, unsurprisingly given the Easter break, which was fine by us of course, but if you’re looking for a quiet adult only vibe, you won’t necessarily find it here, though still very zen!! We were saddened to see the litter on the beach, and though attempts were made to clear it daily, it continued to accumulate each day. The sea is tidal, and we enjoyed watching the fisherman on the horizon each day, and their slow walk back to shore. We were able to have a swim on the days when the litter wasn’t so bad. And be sure to rise early at least once to see the beautiful sunrise over the beach- truly unforgettable.

Superb hotel, facilities are top notch, but what distinguishes it are its staff. Without exception they were friendly, welcoming and couldn’t do enough to ensure that we were happy. The grounds are immaculate, and when you walk through them the gardeners all greet you and smile. We were in a villa with private pool and it was well worth spending the extra money as it was a little oasis of calm for us. It seems a little unfair to highlight particular individuals as all the staff deserve praise. However, we want do to thank Adiya and Suta who serviced our room, Ayu, Ariani and Sami who served us in the various restaurants and always made us feel particularly special and Rai the concierge. We’ve a had a week of pure indulgence and are leaving refreshed and relaxed. What more could we ask. If we ever come back to Bali we will definitely return to the Andaz.
